Save your Sanity

Here are some reasons why you shouldn’t open an account with Faysal Bank.
- If you live abroad, and have half an ounce of intelligence.
- If you speak English, great, but just know that the branch manager doesn’t, (you can’t transition from a taxi driver to a bank manager in one day). They don’t understand their own Terms and Conditions. Simple banking rules don’t apply to them. They have a complaint department which is just as useless and moronic, and would not undermine the managers decision even if it is wrong.
- If you’re not related to a general or an Army major, you are not apt to deal with this mafia.
- They have an investment scheme with Jubilee Insurance, don’t fall for it, it’s a scam.
I live abroad and I opened a joint account with my parents who were residing in Pakistan. After they passed, my account got blocked. While it clearly states in their agreement that I have full access. I have written many letters but never seem to get any response, maybe because it’s in English! My respect for ants has greatly increased after dealing with these idiots. I feel it would be so much easier to teach a monkey to play the piano than to teach them the basics of banking. May this be a fair warning to those thinking of doing business with Faysal Bank. I hope someone from their HR department is paying attention. That diversity creates many options for the consumer. Trust and respect are abstract commodities and are not something you can manipulate. Once lost are impossible to regain. But again you can only understand that statement if your mental faculties have the capacity.

Faisal Bank Pakistan

1- Account opening three working days & two holidays i.e. Sat & Sun means 5 days
2- The cellphone message received included incomplete helpline number.
3- While registering for online banking, finger prints were not being verified, there was an option for on call verification i tried that as a last option. A call was received after 24h verifications were made & i was informed to go to mobile app to complete registration process after 3 hours. I tried to register after 10 hours but the app still said that wait for on call verification.
4- I tried to call helpline provided in the sms found out to be incomplete. Then i called the number from which i received verification call, representative informed me to uninstall the app, restart cellphone & reinstall app, even that did not work same message wait for verification call. Then i called helpline again to provide update for my issue. It kept ringing for 5 min i hanged up called again & same result. Then i tried later my call was picked after 4 minuted of wait & after giving silly reasons i was asked to wait for the banking hours where staff will respond to my complaint. It has been 8 days & i dont have anything no cheque book, no card & even no online banking. Are they still living in stoneage?

Faysal Bank’s credit card service has…

Faysal Bank’s credit card service has been a very disappointing experience. I purchased an item and initially paid the minimum amount for a few months. Later, I converted the remaining balance into a fixed installment plan of PKR 5,000 per month. However, despite this agreement, the bank has been sending me bills of over PKR 8,000.

What is even more concerning is that when I checked my outstanding balance, it had increased by around PKR 6,000 compared to the previous month without any clear explanation. This kind of unexpected increase and lack of transparency is very frustrating.

I would advise others not to use any of their credit cards as they are more thand fraudsters.

I have no words to say that pathetic…

I have no words to say that pathetic services Manager at the bank says apply for the debit card online whereas their online app portal is so dam slow it never opens only secondly whatsApp online services is more worst iam requesting to apply for a debit card and i get a reply of card activation or press M go back to the menu. I had to travel back so the first thing when I reached i wentbstraightbto the back to activate my account and i filled out a form for to get the cheque book on time i was told to check after 7 working days but I went on th 10th day asuming it will be there but to my surprise thw form was kept bybthe branch manager in the file it was not submitted the day I activated my acct. I will never recommend anyone to faysal bank.

Bank is tooo slow

Bank is tooo slow. When you transfer funds from overseas… it takes more than 48 hrs to reach your account in Faysal Bank. It’s alright in normal days but sometimes if you’ve some urgent matters then you can’t do anything about it. It isn’t like a one time thing.. it will happen every time

If I could give zero stars to their…

If I could give zero stars to their pathetic WhatsApp so called customer support, DigiBank mobile app or to lowest level of web app. Nothing works. You need to use only branch. If you are overseas, you ll need to book a ticket to resolve your issue to travel Pakistan. They are living in a hole, their IT team and developers are not working, they are rolling out updates without quality assurance. Their service is as poor as you think for the overseas. Once you have login issues with app, you can never resolve it. You need to have Pakistani sim which needs to be active and they keep giving you excuses, they literally sleep on the issues. Customers like me are stuck just because we can’t login anymore in mobile app.

I'm extremely disappointed with Faysal…

Faysal Bank ka service experience bilkul hi disastrous raha hai! Maine 04-03-2025 ko payment ki thi jo turant mere account se deduct ho gayi, lekin aaj 19-03-2025 ho gaya aur ab tak woh paise mujhe wapas nahi mile.

Maine multiple times customer service se rabta kiya, lekin har dafa bas "investigation chal rahi hai" ka jawab milta hai. Itna lamba delay sirf incompetence ka saboot hai! Na customer support helpful hai aur na hi bank ke systems reliable hain.

Mera kaafi nuksaan ho chuka hai aur ye poora experience meri expectations se kahin zyada frustrating raha. Main sab ko strongly recommend karunga ke Faysal Bank se door rahen agar aapko apni mehnat ki kamai ki fikr hai!
