FG Studios lack respect for their clients, namely in the case of confidentially, and breaking of such pre-agreed terms. Being a wedding and events planner, for high-net worth individuals’, client confidentially and the use of images from our clients’ events must be managed professionally.
My company engaged the services of FG Studios between 2017 and 2019. At the point of engagement FG signed an NDA and Social Media Policy, and in addition confirmed receipt of requested individual event terms, namely that no images are to appear without the express written permission of Niemierko Ltd.
FG have disregarded all respect for Niemierko their client, and in turn Niemierko’s clients by consistently breaking pre-agreed terms by sharing and showcasing imagery from our clients’ private social events. Whilst FG may call them private portfolios, they aren’t such, anyone with an email address can view them.
Prior to writing this review, I kindly reached out to FG Studios Director, Matthew Ferguson, who in turn decided to ignore and even block our messages, on four separate messaging platforms (email, phone, whats app and whats app business). Yet instantly replied to this review, I have since updated this review to reply to his incorrect points. Whilst I and my company had a strong and kind relationship with FG Studios this case, and it's poor communication, has shown how unprofessional a company they are.
To note nowhere in this factual review am I disputing copyright laws, thus a reply highlighting such isn’t valid.
Having employed well over 30 photographers at my company, FG Studios are the only photographers I have had issues with in relation to image use, and regretfully on more than one occasion.
If you are a serious brand, and take the capturing of your creative work seriously, I would highly recommend not engaging the services of FG Studios.
