Friendly informative good experience

Process has been fraught with issues. Kyle, our contact, has been great. Underwriting took too long, provided docs, several days pass, need more docs, appraisals weren't close to market. Whole process took too long. Post funding I've been given nothing about how to access the web portal, when I finally found out how this doesn't work well. I'd not likely work with them again. But we did finally get the funding. I'd give the whole process a C-.

At all times, Ciro was courteous, knowledgeable and kept me informed of the current status of our loan process. He communicated frequently by both phone and email. I think he is a real asset to "Finance of America" and would recommend him to others my wife and I know for future loans.

Finance of America's agent, Marilyn Lee made my transaction journey easy. She kept in touch with me on a daily basis and directed other people involved aware of the necessary moves pertaining to my reverse mortgage requirements. She is a credit to the staff of Finance of America

The greatest experience was dealing with highly professional individuals who were competent, nice, thorough and knowledgeable, had an answer for all my questions, made sense out of complicated information, and were extremely timely in making phone appointments. Brandon Prestia, my initial contact person and representative, really cared about my well-being and kept me informed at all times. The remaining team, for all the counseling and information collecting, were also attentive and pleasant. Working with Finance of America was a positive and rewarding experience!!

Finance of America is a wonderful company. Our loan process was so streamlined and organized. We had dedicated loan officers who walked us through the process every step of the way. Details of our loan were clear and concise. I can’t say enough good things! The application was easy. Communication from staff was excellent. We were kept up dated on a regular basis so there was not a moment when we did not feel confident.

The online application is easy to navigate. The customer service staff was great, knowledgeable, and considerate.

It was a pleasure working with Jason. From the first moment we spoke Jason wanted me to be fully aware of how the process worked and he wanted me to be sure that a reverse mortgage was the right fit for my needs.
Once I made the decision to proceed, he guided me through all the steps to gather the necessary information needed for approval.

After 4 months of frustration and no response from Chris Wright and Nicholas Repice of Onity, Joel Garcia took over my application for a reverse mortgage. Joel was excellent in guidance and information as the process finally continued to completion. I am grateful for all of the work he has done for me.
