I purchased the Cleaner Feeder 2 + guard. Item arrived really quickly, there was a small issue with a faulty part but Andrew swiftly send me a replacement. Overall I would recommend this product as it is very high quality and made in the UK. I know they’re a bit pricy but I think I’ll save money in the long run. I like that the guard isn’t like all the others you find online. They’re usually painted green and will rust after being outside for a while. These seem to be galvanised so they will last forever. The compartments are so easy to change and I’m looking forward to see the birds being able to eat in peace. We have a lot of parakeets here in London which I have witnessed not only bite at smaller birds on my other feeders but also chew through plastic feeders which I have had to replace with ones that have metal ports, they still manage to damage these as well. I am planning to slowly replace all my other feeders with FF.

Excellent bird feeder and efficient service.

I was given both the multi seed and the peanut feeder as a present and in short both are perfect. Watching birds feed from them via my ring camera is absolutely amazing ! Had I not received both as a present would I have paid for them …… YES no question about that !

Really well thought out product, excellent delivery and packaging. Keeps food clean and dry.

Only had this a few weeks, the birds are used to it, me not so but it'll take time to work out changing the feeder, and currently it needs 2 people. 5 stars as I totally agree with good bird food hygiene!

Great concept and great product but assembly not easy for my arthritic hands

I purchased 3 products, Feeder 1, Peanut Feeder and a (Window Feeder a present). Having viewed the video and the reasons for this new design, I have changed some of my feeders to this new design. They are very robust but are easy to clean as there are separate feeder bases which are detachable from the feeders. Gold Finches and Blue Tits have used them.

Excellent quality product, arrived quickly and packed well. Feeder is exactly as described easy to fill and easy to clean. Would recommend. The finches however are not so pleased and have not figured it out yet but all the tits and robins are fine with it. Early days yet.

The best bird feeder we have ever had!

Ordering and receiving went smoothly. Well made and we've had a few chuckles with the squirrels' attempts to feed. They are very determined but even if they get wrapped round the feeder don't get much joy and jump off in disgust. The birds are a little bit suspicious of it at the moment. The plastic baffle could be putting them off but the birds are a little quiet even on the other feeders we have.

Really great service and quick delivery. Checked if I needed the extra tray I ordered as there were already two with the unit - refunded the unnecessary one.

We have had a variety of bird feeders over the years, all claiming to be 'the best' but we used to get larger birds, eg magpies, jackdaws who'd scare away the smaller birds, squirrels trying and often succeeding in getting to the food but worst of all was the waste, bird seeds scattered on the ground, which the pigeons loved. We then discovered Finches Friend; we loved the clever design, the use of recycled materials and made in the UK. We purchased the Cleaner Feeder 1, not cheap at £45 but worth every penny and after only two days all our favourites - bluetits, nuthatches and finches - are back and enjoying the seeds. There is absolutely no spillage of the seeds, the pigeons have given up, as have magpies, jackdaws and squirrels. After nearly a week of having installed it, I have yet to see birds sitting on top of the feeder queueing for food like the reviewer (27 May) stated. It is the best feeder we've ever had and we can thoroughly recommend the product - in fact, we have now also ordered the peanut feeder - and the efficient service.

It's a great product - the birds quickly took to it & are happily emptying it!
