Office communications need improvement!
To be honest, it took 4 months for Fischer to actually contact me, even though i made 8 calls and countless emails. All be it that i have a foreign telephone number!!! In the end they came to survey and quote. Here we are, fitted and running, no complaints.

Had a new smaller water tank installed…
Had a new smaller water tank installed because the old one took up the whole cupboard space where it was. The new one I’d more compact and so far it is very efficient and I now have room to store more things.
All round a very efficient service great installation people and we were advised to run the new water tank on a separate electric point and they arranged this for us the very next day. Very impressed.

Fischer Tide
In 2024, I chose to get the 'Fischer Tide' radiator for my living room (having bought my apartment in 2023 in Manchester city centre) as the previous radiators had been there for a long time, quite inefficient and not always practical or straightforwardly intuitive (at least for me) to operate.
A critical factor that drove my decision was that they were the only seller / manufacturer / distributor of the multiple I asked that could effectively guarantee an even temperature across a large living room and kitchen space without the need for 2 or 3 radiators (i.e. just the one would do). Space in a city centre location is, as you can imagine, quite a premium, and I replaced three radiators with one.
When I had my Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) re-evaluated after a number of other home improvements / renovations etc., this was one of the critical elements that helped bump my EPC up to a 'C' (from the 'D' rating that was previously issued, though I learnt from the evaluator that, unfortunately, the previous certificate was actually meant to have been an 'E').
One limitation which I became more aware of from autumn 2025 onwards (which may not be applicable to everyone) when I was diagnosed with a dust and dust mite allergy + suffering from allergic rhinitis is that the heating from the radiator can be somewhat aggravating for my allergic rhinitis symptoms. Not completely debilitating but noticeable. If it's dust accumulating in the radiator, it's not straightforward to clean.
Another notable limitation is that, unlike one of the other radiators from a different distributor and manufacturer (installed in my own bedroom), the Fischer Tide - at least not to my knowledge - is not operable remotely or through an app (though, to be fair, the other radiator's corresponding mobile app has not been without faults).
