***Warning do not use***

If you order from these crooks via ebay make sure you monitor your refund through ebay if you need it. I sent a TF gear reel back, Fishtec confirmed receipt of return by email, but didnt refund me before ebay timed the process out. I should have checked but stupidly trusted them to do the right thing. I will go through CC or small claims - no way will i be ripped off by these..

Avoid like the plague!!

Absolute shambles of a company. Avoid at all costs. I ordered a Barrow from fishtec and got sent an email saying my product had been despatched and that I need to contact Hermes for tracking information. Contacted Hermes and enquired and they said they have only received a tracking number not a product. I contacted Fishtec again asking what was going on only to be told they are sorting it out in the warehouse. 9 days later I get an email saying product out of stock we are refunding you. 9 days I had to wait for them to tell me it's out of stock whilst being told it's been despatched. Stay clear of this company at all costs. If i could give 0 stars I would!!

Made an pricing error on amazon,arrogant customer service

Made an pricing error on amazon,and wouldn’t honour sale,when I contacted fish tec very arrogant if you don’t like it tough attitude,In today’s tough and challenging Retail climate,companies like this like so many others before them deserve to go out of business, there’s plenty of other companies with much better service to use,avoid fish tec at all costs.

Really disappointed !!!

Really disappointed. Ordered a rod for my husbands birthday, stated in stock, paid and then received an email saying it’s out of stock and will be delayed by 3-4 days then another email stating 3-4 weeks. Rang to request refund was told it takes up to 24 hours . Still no sign of refund and a very unapologetic guy on the phone to make matters worse. I wouldn’t recommend this company and I certainly wouldn’t use them again.

Ordered a Vision tool 11"6 #7 switch rod

Ordered a Vision tool 11"6 #7 switch rod which arrived with damaged to the handle rang them three times and sent emails asking them to ring me back on my mobile (as was out fishing) this was on 13th June but it would seem Fishtec customer service help line is none existent! Ceri dosent seem to answer her emails or be able to understand the meaning "Pleas ring Me". Costing me an arm and a leg phoning as they charge 13p a minute. I wont let up with this issue until fishtec sort it. been dealing with them for about 5 years or more but this will be the last time I use a company with such a bad customer response

Awesome

Awesome, bought a rod and a dehooking mat, received next day delivery but the courier didn't bother to knock on the door he just threw it over the fence. Not the retailers fault, but not the best representation they could hope for. Thankfully, after a brief inspection, products arrived in sound condition

I would like it if they had more stock, the choice for what I was looking at seemed limited.

That said, I've just bad a very bad experience with angling direct as a first time customer of theirs and fishtec have made them look silly.

I will use you guys again thanks for the good service

Ordered two items from them and only…

Ordered two items from them and only one arrived due to an out of stock on the Daiwa rucksack. I was given a date of the 23rd April, then 5th May, so when it didn't turn up I rand there office and spoke to the rudest, most arrogant and argumentative person called Gareth who told me that it won't be In stock until the 7th of July...shocking! I asked for a refund and am.now waiting for it to be processed. Only interested in taking money.

Worst Seller on Amazon

My experience with this company was awful. Ordered a pair of Korda catapults from them on Amazon. Delivery was promised mid-week when I made the order. I needed it before the weekend as I was off to France for a week's fishing. Wednesday came and went and the items didn't arrive - even though I recieved a notification from Amazon to say the items would be delivered that day. So i had to then ring them to find out where the order was. First couple of times they hung up on me or put me on hold for 20 minutes then hung up on me. Eventually got to speak some manager who said they'd been sent out SECOND CLASS! He offered to refund me and also said I could keep the catapults when they arrived. I accepted the refund. The catapults never did arrive though! I doubt they were ever even sent. Absolute shambles of a company, would never use again. Oh and a little sting in the tail, I see I ran up a cost of £20 on my phone ringing the premium rate 0871 number that you have to contact them on and be placed on hold for many minutes. Tossers.

I contacted Fishtec as an order…

I contacted Fishtec as an order (received late) I had placed was incomplete. I had purchased a 'buy one, get one free' offer on Sightfree G3 tippet. Only one spool arrived. When I phoned their cust service I was taken aback by the rudeness of their agent. He told me that it was my error & that he would send another out but going forward to specify the 2nd spool breaking strain, dont worry fishtec there wont be any going forward for me, its my last order.

Pitiful

Firstly they are not fishtec they are the BVG group.
I purchased a new rod that was showing as in stock, it wasn’t. It then took 10 dats to get my money back.
Never again.

Avoid at all costs, much better retailers online

Ordered a rod pod thru their amazon store on the 27th april. Still hasn't arrived. They blame the courier saying that they cannot find my place of work. Which is total BS as i have had other deliveries from the same courier last week and today.
Complete disregard for customer service and best to avoid them

Ordered a Banshee rod and barbless hooks which was supposed to come with a free reel. The reel and hooks still haven't arrived 2 months later and my 3 emails to the company have been ignored, no response whatever!

Would avoid

First two orders were fine. Contacted the company regarding my last two orders after the wrong items had been received. Delivery time of last two orders was just ridiculous and no communication at all from Fishtec regardless of me sending two further email enquiries. Still after several emails they have refused to reply and have failed to correct the spelling of my name on the account. Would not use again and would not recommend. The customer service level is simply non existent.

No delivery

Ordered a bed chair and bivvy, and paid the extra for guaranteed next day delivery. Didn't get the email to confirm dispatch so called, (premium rate number to contact them) and they said they would look into it and call back withing 15 minutes.

They called back 1 1/2 hours later to say that they messed up the order and didn't know where it was. Cancelled order.
