I would never go here again the food is over priced for tiny burgers and tiny fries. I payed £65 pound for two burgers 2 hot dogs 3 milkshakes regular fries and a Diet Coke and the food I received wasn’t what I expected for the price of it I could get better value for money at McDonalds and would of cost me a 3rd of the price

Ordered 2 small burgers but the assistant wasn’t listening and keyed in 2 regular ones. She refused to change the order - although said we could have small ones but at the same cost as the regular ones! The place seemed a bit grubby and there was a large puddle of water in the middle of the floor but no attempt was being made to clear it up
Won’t be going there again I have read the other reviews and it seems there is an indifference to customer service in this company

My son worked at this Chester City Centre branch of Five Guys, and what he went through was shocking. From his first day, he was made to feel uncomfortable and anxious by an assistant manager’s behaviour (Alyssia) Despite raising his concerns through the proper channels and speaking with another senior member of staff (Josh), the company completely failed to take his complaint seriously.

HR were contacted, but their response showed zero empathy or accountability. They hid behind technicalities rather than investigating clear allegations of bullying and unfair treatment. Since then, we’ve heard from others who’ve had similar experiences at the same branch — yet Five Guys have done nothing to address it.

As a parent, I’m heartbroken and angry. No young person should be treated this way in their first job. Five Guys need to take a long, hard look at how they manage and support their staff. This experience has left my son disillusioned and anxious, and it has completely destroyed our trust in the company.

I sincerely hope Five Guys start valuing their employees’ wellbeing instead of brushing complaints under the rug.

The food was excellent – fresh, flavourful, and exactly what you’d expect from a place that prides itself on quality. The restaurant was clean and well-kept.

What really stood out, though, was the customer service. A special shoutout to Nat, who went above and beyond. Nat was friendly, approachable, and had a genuinely positive energy that made a big difference. You could tell the staff really cared about making sure customers were looked after.

Oder delayed by over an hour with just eat. To enquire what’s happened, just eat advise to call restaurant, restaurant advise to call just eat.

Absolutely awful 20.00 for burger chips and milkshake no flavour at all and my partner ended up I'll after it so basically paid for an upset stomach

Deliveroo only delivered drinks.. no food. First time ordering VERY expensive burger and chips as a super special treat... and then to not have it turn up is awful. I feel totally scammed but not sure who by!
Five guys need to drop deliveroo immediately

Where I live there isn't a Five Guys in North Wales. As soon as I saw one in Chester, I just to try them. Had bacon cheesburger, fries & cola. The fries were amazing as well as the burgers, very filling. Whilst waiting for the takeaway, it was amazing how they cook the burgers. The staff there were really friendly. Would certainly go there again. Superb burgers, best burger chain ever.
