AVOID Stoke on Trent
Please don't waste your money on these people!
The stoke on Trent store store took my order via Just Eat. when the food costing £52 for two burgers and fries arrived, majority of the order was missing. I immediately contacted Just Eats and the store who each passed the blame to the other, with the blame eventually falling on me the paying customer with no food. If you are going to use a delivery company that steals food and put your brand name to it then at least be responsible enough to deal with customer complaints. Will never order from you again and hope this helps others not to make the same mistake.

Bringing the brand down
I’ve now had three separate Uber Eats orders from Five Guys Orpington where items have been missing — most recently a drink again.
Mistakes happen once. Twice is concerning. Three times is a pattern.
What made this worse was the way it was handled. I called the restaurant and spoke to a staff member named Jon, who was dismissive and condescending. Instead of offering a refund or resolving it properly through Uber Eats, I was told to “drive down and pick it up” myself — despite having paid for delivery. When I explained that wasn’t reasonable, he laughed and offered no assistance.
Beyond this specific incident, the branch itself often appears unclean when visiting in person, and staff presentation has not always inspired confidence. For a premium-priced fast food brand, you expect higher standards — both in accuracy and professionalism.
This isn’t about the cost of a drink. It’s about consistent service standards and basic customer care.
Unfortunately, this has been the poorest Five Guys experience I’ve had in the UK.
I would rate it as shit!!
I would rate it as shit!!! The so called manager Jack who refused to give he’s name in the upper st branch is as useful as a chocolate tea pot! (Shit) after trying to show him a good review I posted previous he brushed me aside cause apparently he had a big mc d chip on hes shoulder cause I said he wernt very customer oriented but Melinda & Madu were amazing & proper friendly and welcoming same as the other manager with the blonde hair, she’s lovely to, I’m the customer who gave tips & tried to get tip jar back cause most of the workers do amazing work, but I won’t be going back in sad to say, unless Jack whoever he’s 2nd name is gets sacked or moved on to a less demanding job! Il be honest, I would not let him walk my dog he has no ppl skills let alone animal ones 👎🏻
1 hour later
1 hour later , 2 cold burgers and fries turned up on my doorstep. It was fit for the bin, what a disgrace. This franchise has gone down hill quickly.
LAZY STAFF
LAZY STAFF. The waiting time is soo long bcz the employees chitchats
I ordered a milk shake
I ordered a milk shake, on finishing the shake i thought I could taste bacon, I am vegetarian so definitely would not have requested bacon in my milk shake, when I looked in the container it was full of bacon at the bottom, I was mortified, on the list of ingredients bacon was not listed. I wrote to head office 4 weeks ago and have heard nothing. Which is dreadful customer service.
Improvement!
My last two visits to this company were not good, and I vowed to never shop there again, but the young guy who served us, I told him about those previous experiences and he apologised which is more than what previous managers offered, to give credit where it was due our server followed through on his promises, the food was good the portions were what we were use to from many previous visits, the only criticism is £40 + for burgers fries and milkshakes is quite high!

Stopped to buy the new Winnersh Five Guys to buy a little cheeseburger and chips for my two grandsons & a milkshake - £40 - chips were mediocre and enough for six people -the eight year old didn’t eat the burger as he didn’t like it - I will not being popping in here again

Ordered our food and waited, came in a brown paper bag, asked where the plates were (as we were eating in )or something to eat on and informed they didn’t do plates, so asked was I meant to eat off the table looked at me as if I had two heads.🤬 what a joke never again.
I would never go here again the food is…
I would never go here again the food is over priced for tiny burgers and tiny fries. I payed £65 pound for two burgers 2 hot dogs 3 milkshakes regular fries and a Diet Coke and the food I received wasn’t what I expected for the price of it I could get better value for money at McDonalds and would of cost me a 3rd of the price
First and probably last visit to Five Guys
This was my first visit to a Five Guys and I think it will be my last.
Visited on a Friday night with friends (three of us in total). As Five Guys is known for burgers, I was disappointed to find that there was no veggie burger but I accept that there were other veggie options, just not to my taste. I ordered chips and a shake. I was amazed at how expensive these were for a burger joint. We went to find a table. The place was not that busy, lots of vacant tables but all dirty. In the end I cleared one and wiped it down with some water and napkins. Our food seemed to take ages, again surprising as it did not appear to be busy. Staff were not rude, just seemed to be a bit indifferent. Good points were that the portion of chips was generous and the shake tasted nice. Overall a very disappointing visit, some issues with Five Fuys themselves and some to do with this individual branch.

Found a beard hair in two separate burgers, not hygienic at all
Overrated and overpriced
Overrated and overpriced! Below average quality food extortionately priced. 4 burgers, 4 fries and 3 drinks £79! Very average quality and quantity! You've got to be kidding!
A dry burger, over done ..I asked for a medium rare with cheese and chilly..one of the worst burgers I've had
Dry burger, staff did not know what medium rare was...no heat or flavor..not a 80/20 mix
at all.
Dry shit .. masquerading as Americas best .. please go to the worst place in America and you will have a better burger
5 Guys (....but none of them are delivery drivers)
Ordered a couple of burgers from 5 Guys in Harlow through Just Eat.
On top of the rip-off "service fee", "delivery fee", "paper bag fee", extra fee for wanting to live in Harlow", etc there was a wait time of 40mins. Which isnt too bad for a Friday.
As soon as I placed the order the delivery time went up to 2 hours because there were not enough Just Eat delivery clowns available.
CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL
Then vent my anger on trustpilot. Not that companies pay any attention to Trustpilot reviews, because idiots like me will still order stuff from them.
Shocking delivery
Ordered food via just eat around 2:30 today, estimated delivery of 2:55. Since then it has continued to rise and now says 4:10. Thats nearly 2 hours of the original order time. Absolutely crazy and totally unacceptable. I am STILL waiting for my food right now. I understand that there’s a rod closure but get a grip, there are other routes.
A Five Guys Experience Worth Sharing
Usually, I am a Disappointed Customer, as reflected in my name but today, I am a Happy Customer! :P Sharing my experience of the Five Guys Fort Shopping Store in Birmingham.
I recently had a wonderful experience, all thanks to Stacey. Despite the rush, she managed everything like a pro. By taking the time to engage with us, answer any questions that we had and offer fantastic food recommendations. It felt like she really cared about making our experience enjoyable, which is rare in the fast food industry.
Thanks Five Guys for the awesome customer experience!
Cancelled for no reason
I ordered food, it said it was on its way and would be 10 minutes. Then it was cancelled for no reason. I waited 30 minutes for it to be cancelled. Don't bother!
Ordered food amounting to just over…
Ordered food amounting to just over £40, it arrived cold, I live 10 mins from shop, would have been hotter had I collected and walked back.
So so disappointed.
Uber eats refunded me £0.29
