Friendly

Friendly. Great food. Nice staff. Great manager. Magic music.
New ownership has made this a completely different vibe than it had been years before.
Well done people.

A fabulous restaurant with good…

A fabulous restaurant with good attentive and caring service. The food is second to none. It is authentic, tasty, and fresh and has a feel of genuine home cooked food. We were in the area for the weekend attending a wedding and ended up getting a takeaway and brought it back to London. If in the area, definitely give it go. It will not disappoint.

Disgusting service

Five rivers is an extremely terrible restaurant! They charged us over £130 on a meal for 4 people. They also charged us for a complimentary drink which was thought to be free. Not to mention one of the waiters would not take ownership of his mistake even after confronted by us on the outrageous behaviour. The total cost of the drinks and food was added up to £145! I highly recommend that no one should visit five rivers unless they would like to be ripped off.

Poor websites, inexperienced staff

It's so dishonest when companies leave themselves a fake review, and the Emily Richards review on Google is just that. They used this as a fake persona for our website's SEO, to leave fake comments, and much of it in pigeon English. Even do it on their own blog, from what we can tell - *update* - which is now no longer live.
The MD, Sukhi Somal, didn't seem to care about the lack of quality his company provided, so it was left to us to remove this rubbish, or feel the wrath of Google. Didn't get our money back of course. No wonder they're going down the pan, having moved out of their original offices into a small room within a bigger office building. "S Singh" has even left himself a 5 star Google review. Desperate stuff.
Most of the staff are now apprentices, so there's no experienced staff working there. High attrition rate too, from what we experienced.
Avoid at all costs.
