Absolute terrible on-boarding experience.
App didn't work correctly, support questions to fix this and continue on-boarding were half answered, specific questions went unanswered and the last email was passive aggressive/rude.

At least this showed me they are not worth moving my savings to so I can't comment on anything beyond that.

Avoid if you care about customer service at all.

Flatex randomly closed my account

No warnings in advance, just a termination letter. I did not do any activities that are against T&Cs and I pretty much understand the business decision behind this since the activity level on the account was quite low vs the effort to maintain it through various regulations.
Here is what I don’t understand:
Called customer service for clarification and next steps and without even getting into my specific case the agent told me to "not open the account there again”. This is an absolute customer service failure and sign of unreliability for those in my family who still use this provider.

how can you run a consumer business but do not allow self-service for admin processes? your registration churn must be stupidly high. i mean flatex sends out hard copy registration forms for god's sake.

please get your processes and support in order!

Tried to make an account, they told me to wait for the login info which would take up to 24 hours, it's been 2 weeks and 3 emails later - still haven't gotten anything.
Tried to ask them some questions just to confirm what I kind of figured out from the info on their website and one question was half answered and the other ones about portfolio transfers were completely ignored.
After such a bad onboarding experience I am wondering if it's worth it at all to move my portfolio here. Hands down the worst customer service I've experienced from a broker.

The person who verified my documentation was very helpful and used simple language, which was very good considering that I am not a native German speaker.

I tried to open a deposit account and I submitted all the necessary documentation. The procedure stopped for some reason so i asked some support. I reached them twice by email and once by phone: no one ever came back with a solution or with a reply in 2 months. Is that a customer care service?
EDIT: reached back to Flatex after their reply here, and guess what? NOTHING ( 15 days and counting....)

I don't have much to share about the trading service offered. It works fine. The support though, is very random. Sometimes it's okay, sometimes it's really bad. Last time it took them 15 days to answer me that they can't help me... because they say they can't reach out to their colleagues at Degiro, while they did a month prior.

Absolute rip off. They randomly want credit back and harrass you. Then, they start charging "warning fees" from your account with a short notice. I already pay interest for the credit I am using. Obviously, the sum is all invested in the stock market. You are forcing me the sell my stocks in loss. You are SCAMMING people. I brought at least 5 new customers to your system. I will shut down my account as soon as possible, and tell the people I know the same thing. Stay away from these loan sharks!

Absolutely horrible experience trying to open an account. It has been a month and I still don't have an account even though I've sent in the requested information. Too bad the Degiro platform is not in Austria.

It is impossible to leave after having investing there and moving abroad. I have been in contact with their customer support on their website for like 2 months now. It takes them two weeks to answer every message and even tho I did digital signature on their form they just told me today that they can't see it while it is pretty obvious.
It was good while I had no problem but their customer support is the worst I ever had to deal with!
