Was good before. Requested support and got response: ‘Cannot replicate your issue’. That’s it!
Great for Tracking Flights
Very accurate and easy to use. Sometimes a bit slow to load, but overall an awesome tool for aviation fans.
Filters and Playback are great
The types of filters available really make it fun to track government aircraft. The preset types are good but the custom filters allow me to search for my Aircraft-of-Interest. The playback function allows me to view past activity- very handy to check out just where a certain aircraft is going.
Caveat- only aircraft that want to be seen are displayed, a lot of times that means only Take-off and Landing.
Utter rubbish now
Utter rubbish now! Used to be good, but now there is NO thought about customers. Whoever now runs this has NO idea! Cancelling at next renewal.
Shady, dishonest, greedy business with shady, dishonest, greedy business practices
Discontinued paid version, forces paying customers to pay again for features they already paid for. Spams you with unsolicited notification ads.
Support abysmal
Ran my own raspberry pi tracker for FR24.
Software mysteriously stopped working after 3 years with no issues.
Support abysmal - so I left them.
I missed a connecting flight because it…
I missed a connecting flight because it displayed untruthful information about the delay of the flight.
Early Supporters Betrayed: Flightradar24's Greedy Shift to Subscriptions
I was one of the early supporters of Flightradar24 and bought a number of licenses for my family. Unfortunately, they turned greedy and started to force a subscription model even for owners of previous lifetime licenses. After some time, they completely canceled the older app and left early supporters without any access to what they had paid for. After that sneaky, two-faced move, I wouldn't pay for or use the app even if it was the last resort.
Was super duper, now rubbish
Many a moon ago I downloaded Flightradar24 and found it quite useful, especially the 3D view.
After a while I paid to upgrade to the PRO version with no ads for life.
This was good.
Then the PRO version disappeared and ads returned.
Bad.
Still useable but annoying.
Then a new version of 3D view was added (at extra cost) but at least the old (and better by the way) one was still there.
Now, it isn't.
Utterly appalling disregard for its users means that a 5* app now deserves 0* but, for some strange reason I have to give it 1.
As a matter of principle I will now delete this sorry excuse of an app from my device.

Nice to track but very basic and inaccurate, rescue choppers that are on the pad this site says its at 650m and doing 65 knots.
Not credible
If I could give them a -5 I would
If I could give them a -5 I would. I have never been subjected to such rude service - unbelievable !
I called twice today June 13th between 12:15 and 12:30 to dispute a charge on my credit card. Got connected to the first available agent. I could use a lot of nouns/adjectives to describe his behavior - let's leave it as being an arrogant jerk!
Both times he yelled at me to call the credit card company - and then slammed the phone down. I called again and he didn't answer. Imagine my surprise !
If that's an example of how you treat customers - wow ! You have/will be having serious issues. This person should be fired ASAP !! I will try to get hold of his manager. Giving your company a bad name. Customers - take notice and beware! On to YELP...
I stopped support after reading about their scam
I used to support Flightradar24 by "feeding" aircraft positions to their servers, like thousands of other people. I don't want to sound arrogant, but Flightradar24 exists only because of people like us. Without our data, they have nothing. We are the ones who install and operate the tracking hardware and who are paying the electricity bills. After reading here how they basically scammed people, I stopped providing data to them and I would recommend others to do the same. If someone buys a one-time-payment "lifetime" product, they should have it. They are breaking a legal contract and the law by removing / not compensating old customers. Also, they do not have that much financial expenses, since people like me are the ones who are providing almost all of the data of airplanes. They barely do anything other than taking up to $500 to $600 bucks from customers. As a "feeder" I get a "Business" account for free, but to be honest: It isn't worth. The free website provides everything most people need.

It is very difficult to unsubscribe from the service. I tried the free trial silver premium version, and it took a lot of work to deactivate the subscription. I hope I did, at least.

Follow plans that people I know fly on to see when they land, connect, etc.
I've been a Silver member since they launched this.
Flightradar24 is now a sell-out...
Flightradar24 now has ads for Sephora that will not let you go. Hit the x to close and you get Sephora's site instead. Try to close to go back to FR24 and it won't let you. It takes you back to the first ad again and again.
Flightradar24 has become a piece of crap...

The article titled "TCAS incident…
The article titled "TCAS incident highlights ongoing issues in Somalia airspace" presents a distorted and exaggerated view of the state of Somalia's airspace. It is concerning that derogatory terms are used to describe a country in an attempt to sensationalise the content of the article. Such tactics undermine the credibility of the information presented and perpetuate misconceptions about Somalia's aviation sector.
It is essential to highlight that Somali airspace is not only well-established but also equipped with cutting-edge technology and equipment to effectively manage air traffic. The continuous investment in modern aviation infrastructure demonstrates a commitment to ensuring the safety & efficiency of air travel within Somali airspace. The presence of advanced systems and protocols underscores the efforts to meet international standards and enhance the overall operational capacity of the airspace.
In light of these facts, it’s evident that the portrayal of Somali airspace in the aforementioned article is misleading and fails to capture the progress and advancements made in the sector. It is crucial to approach discussions about aviation matters with accuracy and respect, acknowledging the efforts made by countries like Somalia to enhance their aviation capabilities and ensure a safe and reliable airspace environment.

I had a query about buying a subscription as a gift so contacted customer support, I was delighted by the reply from Liliia who was excellent at providing a solution for me with her friendly support. Thank you
