I had the great occasion to meet one of the best support worker I had until now with Florence agency. He always offered me extra support not just with caring but cleaning, doing my hair cut and make me feel more than appreciate and useful with my daily task.Cristian Florin M, bring me back the trust and confidence in care workers, and offered me a great mental support following his great CBT skills and great attitude of approach my daily state of mood. I’ve been with Florence for the past three weeks and I would say they are by far the best. Thumbs up

I have been with Florence since February 2022. At the beginning they were ok with the shifts, however as the time progressed the shifts have become less and less. There aren’t many shifts, and around my area, living fairly close to London the shifts are still far away, 50 miles plus. The local homes that there are registered with Florence only post shift every 150 day plus. It’s because quite not that great, and if you do book a shift, you don’t get booked in. I know that this is up to the homes, but still… florence should investigate this matter, if someone is trying to book shifts with a home and they never choose you, despite as a nurse / hca you have a good rating. Whenever there were any shifts some of the homes were fair amounts per shift / per hour. Very disappointed with Florence

Florence is a joke. As for today my account is under review because I had a booked shift to go but unfortunately I was ill under 24 hours before the shift start and I just go to work unwell, so I did not show. Someone from the office rang me and left a voice mail. What is my point? Is alright if booked shifts for the care home to cancel staff shift starting in 24 hours without any penalty of the home. But once Florence staff cancel shift straightaway they will block your account. This is absolutely ridiculous because one can have unplanned event piior to shift starting.

Well, I am not bothered at all because Florence is my part - time job. I will advise everyone not to rely on this guys call Florence because they don’t look after their staff they only care about the money.

Their pay rate is one of the lowest in Agency job now

Communication is excellent and I
am very happy working for them.
You pick up the shifts that suit you.
There are many shifts posted daily and pay is weekly always on time.

I am currently enjoying my stay at Florence although i faced delays during the registration process. I would strongly recommend to be part of the team.

The nurse on shift left the building without a nurse and allowed another carer to take him to the hospital. this meant the home was left with unsafe numbers.

I am very grateful to have found this online course provider. Really fantastic short courses with up to date information and a lovely pdf to buy after you've completed the short assessment. Appreciate that this company tells you the exact price of the certificate before you start your particular course and that it writes up your skills for you in your profile portfolio so you can see for yourself your newly acquired experience. Live chat has been really useful for getting queries/issues resolved, when I've required follow up help with shift booking.

I’m just wondering why all these people writing good reviews, please stop lying and giving others hope. It is true ,registration takes ages , you can apply to as many shifts you want , you’ll get back unsuccessful application , because only the certain ones will get the shifts .

I’d been registered from them for almost a year now. I never get any shifts even once. Every time I try picking up It’s all unsuccessful shifts.
they do posted shifts far from where your location provided and a shift that never existed in first place.

Please be careful specially when you get hired from them and get all your documentation send and paid necessary requirements and never get any work from them.

I am in the process of registering. I am getting so frustrated. I have just spend nearly 2 hours completing my fitness to work and it keeps taking me back to the beginning.
I have been looking for shifts but they are all miles away and I am a rmhn not rgn.
I have spent a long time doing all the elearning and have paid for it myself.
I can't download one of my certificates and have emailed but no response.

Great portal to use and reasonable rates. The staff are friendly and reliable.

Nightmare getting compliant, wont recognise my manual handling from H&Sgroup and cant even talk to anyone for support

I am very proud of Florence team for being patient and supportive when I was in crisis unable to log into my account. They handled the matter professionally. Communication was superb. There was no time limit I called / emailed at ackward times. Response excellent

I have only done 5 shift with Florence and I can honestly say that am extremely happy to be part of their team, plenty of shifts available which suits me so I can work around my partners rota, having the ability to work flexible shifts has been a great game changer for me and my family, I have a child who has adha and is on the autism spectrum and being able to get my shifts that fit around her needs is just great, am so glad I joined, keep up the great work Florence xxx
