Scam Alert, they selling discount ticket that they don’t have, then force u to cancel it with a fee in 24hr time frame. That’s how scammer make $. Avoid this one is Scammer!!!!!!! BE CAREFUL.

I booked a flight through these people. It took my credit card payment, but i never received an email confirmation or anything. The screen was just there processing my payment but it never went through. I even called them while my payment was processing because i did not know if my payment was being processed or not. They never answered and the session finally timed out. The next morning they emailed me to call back. I called and now they wanted me to pay double the price because the flight i purchased the night before was no longer available at that price and now wanted me to pay &600 instead of the $300 I purchased it for the night before. I even bought ticket insurance in case something like this would happen. Well, it did and I was not fully refunded my total cost of the flight. They said they made an exception this one time and could refund a portion of my purchase. This is the biggest SCAM people. Don't do business with this company.

They offer a price then they tell you that the seat is no longer available. Then they offer you a much higher price (almost double) and if you don't agree, they charge you for cancellation fees.
On top of that, one day before the flight, the airline informed that the taxes hadn’t been paid.

I should have read the reviews before I booked with this company and saved myself a huge headache. We booked with this company on a Friday evening and Saturday afternoon they're calling me telling me that the promotion that I bought there's no seats on it and I had to pay double to get another flight out. How can you sell tickets on an airline that there's no seats available??? Then you've got to pay the cancellation fee and taxes on that? I never canceled the flight they did. How do you cancel a flight that there's no seats on and then make someone pay a cancellation fee? What a huge scam. I agree with the other post about a bait and switch. I would not book with this company.!!!! Good thing I had travel insurance or I would have lost all my money not just $75!!!!!! Can't trust anyone these days.

I found myself in a situation, and I thought there was no recourse. Then Robwin got on the phone with me, and in moments had everything handled. He was gracious under pressure, and in those few moments turned my day around. I will be back because of him, and his kindness.

I received a credit for 3 airfares for a flight that I had to cancel in 2024. It cost me an extra $100 each to get a credit that would be available for up to 1 year. I just tried (2025) to use the 3 credits and was told that they have already been used! I was told that I had to have given the information to someone and that person used them. My Receipt was ALWAYS on my home office desk. My husband and I are retired and live alone. NO ONE had access to credit info. Someone at Fly Fair Travels had to have used them. I waited on hold, for a promised supervisor, but no one came to talk to me about this outrage. $852.60 + $300 GONE!!!!! I had the name of the representative and was told he no longer works there, hmmm.

Booked a flight a whole month in advance And then received a call from representatives stating that I bought the flight on a promotion & it was no longer valid( then why sell me the ticket?) My only other option was to pay double what I paid. I tried to look at alternate dates but somehow the entire month was booked and no alternate times either. They in turn refunded me and charged 66$ for cancellation to a flight they sold me not having any seats available. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! I should have read reviews! DONT DO IT!

I booked a flight at a confirmed price, but the company later called to demand additional payments. When I requested a cancellation, they charged me a cancellation fee.

Beware of fraud / scam

I read about scams like this on the internet but never thought I would fall victim to one. However, I guess there's a first time for everything. I booked tickets to Central America through FlyFairTravels because the price was significantly cheaper than on Kayak or Google Flights. I was suspicious that it might be too good to be true, but the agency had good reviews on Google, so I decided to take a chance.

Later, I revisited the reviews and noticed they all seemed similar, leading me to suspect they were written by AI, which fooled me. Here's what happened: I booked the tickets (flying with United) at a much lower price than on legitimate websites. The next day, I received a call from the FlyFairTravels stating that United didn’t have basic economy tickets available for the departure flight and that I needed to upgrade to the main cabin at double the price. When I refused and asked for a refund, they informed me I would have to pay a penalty of about 80% of what I paid because United had already reserved my return flight tickets.

I asked to speak with a supervisor and was transferred to Ernesto, who repeated the same thing. While waiting for Ernesto, I checked United’s website and chatted with a United agent, who confirmed that the agency's claim was false and that plenty of economy seats were available on the flight I booked.

After arguing with Ernesto, he admitted that United did have seats available, but I would still have to pay a few hundred dollars more because prices had supposedly risen overnight. I asked the United agent about this, and they said the prices had remained the same for the past few days.

Ernesto’s next excuse was that I couldn’t get a refund or the tickets at the original price because United had already booked the return flight seats. However, the United agent told me that was also a lie, as they only book seats when they are available for all flight segments of the itinerary.

After spending almost an hour on the phone with Ernesto and proving that all of his arguments are lie he still refused refund my money or book the tickets according to their published prices, even though they still had those prices published on their website for the days and itinerary I booked. Luckily as soon as I felt the situation is a scam I start recording our conversation on which I inform Ernesto as well as I kept transcript of my chat with United and the screenshot of original booking. I have informed Ernesto since we're not coming to any agreement I am planning to sue this travel agency for scam and false advertisement and hang the phone. 5 minutes later somehow my money magically became refundable and I received an email from the agency that my book is is canceled and my credit card will not be charged. I assume that many people fall as victim of the scam and weren't as lucky as I was and either had to pay hundreds of dollars extra or lose their money.

Our experience with this company can't be rated even a one star. They are indeed a bait and switch company and should NOT be trusted. We made airlines reservations and within two hours they were calling with an amount that was double the price we originally booked. It's a shame that we book with good faith and end up scammed! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!
