Used Flying Flowers many times over the years and have never had an issue with the ordering service, delivery and freshness and length of how long the flowers last. Unfortunately this time everything... See more

It all started on the little island of Jersey – that spot between England and France famous for its cows. Back in 1981, clever holidaymakers swapped postcards for carnations, sending a burst of beauty home by post 🌸 It was the start of something special. 30 years on, we’ve delivered over 10 million beautiful bunches – from lush lilacs to vintage roses (though we still have a soft spot for carnations!) 🌸 Delivering joy is what we do best, and we’re proud to be rated Excellent on Trustpilot. While a lot has changed since those early days, our mission remains the same: spreading happiness, simply. We do that with fast delivery, a 10-day freshness guarantee, a caring customer team, thoughtful extras, and sustainably sourced blooms in planet-friendly packaging 🌸 Ready to make someone smile? We definitely are.
10 Day Freshness Guarantee
Enjoy longer-lasting blooms with our 10-day freshness guarantee 🌸

Late delivery :(
I ordered flowers for a specific date. The website clearly states next day delivery via DPD at the checkout stage. On the day of the delivery, I received an email saying the flowers were on their way.
There is no phone number or agents available in live chat.
My email was replied to saying delivery will not be until two days after the agreed date and via Royal Mail (and not DPD). Not at all which was agreed when I made payment. Not even an apology or recognition that the website falsely claims next day delivery.
I have used many flower and plant delivery companies and never had this issue. Extremely disappointing as these were for an anniversary and wanted them to arrive on the day. Not two days later!
Update:
Flying Flowers claims this is resolved, but it is not. While they did issue a refund, providing a refund for a missed essential delivery date is a basic requirement under UK consumer law (the Consumer Rights Act 2015). It does not excuse the fact that the flowers finally arrived two days late with most completely wilted and dead, entirely ruining a 50th wedding anniversary gift. The bunch look nothing like the photos and certainly not worth £50.

I ordered flowers from Flying Flowers…
Updated review: Excellent response from Shelley, who sent a replacement bouquet to my mother, which was greatly appreciated. Hopefully this was just a blip, and I would use the service again.
Original review
I ordered flowers from Flying Flowers for my mum’s birthday and was extremely disappointed with what actually arrived.
The bouquet bore very little resemblance to the arrangement advertised on the website. It was a very hot day, but the bouquet was sparse, the flowers were limp and tired-looking, and many appeared to be already past their best. I have photos showing both what I ordered and what was delivered, which really speak for themselves but am unable to upload them to this review.
I contacted Flying Flowers and, to their credit, they responded and refunded the full cost of the order. However, a refund doesn’t really resolve the problem. I ordered flowers because it was my mum’s birthday — and she was left without the lovely birthday bouquet I thought I had sent her. She put the flowers in water immediately but even after a day they just look like they need to be thrown.
Customer Services apologised and told me that my complaint had been recorded, but there was no offer to send replacement flowers or otherwise put right the fact that my mum’s birthday gift had been such a disappointment.
Sadly, despite the refund, I will never order from Flying Flowers again.

First time using this company
First time using this company. It was by mistake as I thought I was using Bloom and Wild but they had "hijacked" the ranking link in google and I ended up on their site. Anyway their choice seemed good so I went ahead. They sent my friend a lovely bunch of flowers but they were not the flowers I ordered. They were the option approx £10 below what I had paid for. I contacted them to ask for a refund for the difference but they have not bothered to reply.

I needed them delivered next day
I needed them delivered next day, brilliant, very efficient. Flowers arrived lunch time next day. Kept informed. Recipient very happy. Thank you
Excellent customer service team but...
I ordered the Rose Duo as a birthday present. Ordering was quite easy and all seemed good until DPD got involved who didn't seem to understand what next day delivery meant and perhaps you should handle flowers with care.
Flying flowers customer service team were brilliant and immediately sorted out my problems.
However one week on and one of the plants has shriveled up
Not really what I was expecting or hoping for.
