I went online and found their website - it looked the same as the others out there so wasn't too worried and they allowed payments via PayPal so I wrongly assumed some level of legitimacy. However after paying my £6 and waiting 48 hours (their maximum turn-round time - according to the website) I had only received an email invoice - no unlock code. So I emailed them, used their "contact us" facility on the website and tried in vain to fine a contact number but with no success. In light of their complete lack of response I have requested a refund via PayPal and am awaiting a response. By the way - I can recommend GSMliberty for a unlock codes - received one from them in 5 mins and it was only £5 - my order ref with fonesunlock is 13548 - they are utterly useless don't go near them

The only email I have had from them was to confirm the paypal payment. Since then it doesn't matter what I do - no response. I have started a paypal dispute - this starts with the two parties supposedly trying to sort out the problem, but they never email so it must be a scam.

Ordered My MEP Code for my Curve 8520, 3 days later nothing. I have sent 3 E-mails and still no reply, My Order Number is #13520. Very Disappointed, wish I had of read the reviews before placing an order. Feel Scammed, The Office of Fair Trading should be aware of this company!!

update:I was going to give them a chance but after them Ignoring all my e-mails which i sent to support, sales & Payments I have now placed a dispute via Paypal people beware dont buy from these con men!!

Requested unlock code a week ago - still nothing. No response to emails.
Not convinced this is a real company just a rip off.

I paid for an unlock code before X'mas . I was given 2 codes that did not work . I was asked for my RPD code which I passed on over a week ago. I have not heard a word since despite sending them a number of e-mails

over a week and still nothing, 2 orders placed and not a sausage from the company

Ordered on 31.12.12 no reply. I emailed 3 times and still nothing!

Ordered code 30/12/11 still no code and no response to emails and no phone number on web site to speak to them, avoid at all cost

Not heard anything back from this company since the order was placed 6 days ago. Used the email contact and the feedback form and nothing. I may not have spent a lot of cash but that is not the point. I have raised a complaint via pay pal and will report the company to their local trading standards.

ordered 2 unlock codes, received one after a shorter time than the other and it was the correct code.

THE OTHER ONE HOWEVER was a WRONG CODE and i have sent 4 EMAILS since and have gotten NO REPLY what so ever.

Took 6 sterlings and sent me a wrong code and i haven't gotten my refund yet.

i'd like a refund instead of a new code. PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP!!

I did not receive my codes within the 48 hours stated and the company did not respond to emails until a week later. When they did eventually contact me they refunded my money immediately.

Although initial code did not work, staff were quick to reply to my emails until a working code was provided. Would definitely recommend service.

Worked on 1st code provided.
Phone : Blackberry curve 8900 with updated operating system.
New sim inserted, software detected wrong sim card and request for "unlock code".
Yes and was presented with "Enter Network MEP Code".
Entered 1st code provided and phone was unlocked.

I received a first code that didn't work and I followed the instructions for this cases, mainly to send a second identifier of the device: I received the good code only 3 or 4 hours after. It worked immediately!
