The whole process from initial contact, planning, ordering equipment and installation was stress free. We are delighted with the result. Follow up care and attention is also First Class.

Worst hot tub experience ever. Absolute shambles of a company.

Absolute shambles of a company.

Bought a hot tub in 2024 (£10,000) and have had nothing but issues with it ever since. Constantly building up white bacteria that we cannot get rid of. I wouldn't even put my dog in it. We have emptied the hot tub 5 times and can not get rid. Used differnet system flushes and nothing works!
Fonteyn are aware of the issue as they sent someone out to flush the system, saying that they have seen this before. Customer service is diabolical and the owner, Marcus, is the rudest person I have ever spoken too. He is lucky we only spoke on the phone. Trying to get the issues resolved to no avail. They do not seem to care at all. Do not trust them with your money.

After sales

Hi
I had to send this review a lot of people complain regarding after sales
But rest assured these guys go the extra mile to make sure things are ok
I had a fault with my tub
So my first point of call was with Zac
He was so polite also so efficient
Then the engineers Carl also Tom
There knowledge and friendliness towards me was spot on
The tub is up and running Thks guys I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you

Wouldn't try them again

I wanted to order a rolltop cover for my passion swim spa which is one of the brands these sell. It took several phone calls over several days to actually get through to someone at which point I was told " I can quote you a price but have no idea when you will get it" The covers aren't cheap at circa £2k so to receive this ridiculous response is an utter joke. I have since placed an order elsewhere with a delivery date guarantee and cheaper than the price suggested.

Absolute sham of a company!!

Absolute sham of a company!!! Deliver a hot tub last yr 2024 tell us nothing about it filled it up and went. We had a couple a problems with it and someone came back to sort it said filter was mucky (bearing in mind I had no clue how to remove this as wasn’t shown) or how many times I had to clean it etc. Had other issues and rang the store to be put onto manager or so he said he was not sure of name (Steve ) maybe. He was absolutely awful no people skills. So we dealt with another guy, again not sure of name but Asian guy. Was ok at first helping us then when we ordered heat pump he also started ignoring us. Promise on a couple of occasions they were coming with heat pump but always changed date or had another emergency. So I wanted my money back as was sick of them by now. Only we had to ring up every day to be told more rubbish how they had to get a director to sign off refund lol. Took over a week for us to get our £1500 back! If I knew what I know now they would have never have got my money what a horrible company. Anyway things happen for a reason and we have been in touch with a lovely company from Leeds who are now fitting our heat pump! Problem after problem with this company and the people . Stay far!! Oh and also we wasn’t told about any products to add to it other than the chlorine tab every week. If my friend didn’t have one I wouldn’t have had a clue. Didn’t no about PH levels or testing sticks or shock chlorine or no foam all these would have meant nothing to me but like I say thanks to my mate . You don’t spend thousands on a hot tub to then not been told about it and it could ruin it. They take your money then don’t give a stuff about u or the tub!

Terrible would not recommend

We have bought their most expensive hydropool, paid for it in full in Nov 2024. Due to the delays caused by my builders took delivery for it in April. However after April till now Aug 2025 i am still chasing my installation to be completed. The wooden panels that were meant to go around my hrdro pool are not yet delivered or installed. They booked twice with me and cancelled on the day. Spoke to the owner who had assured me it would be delivered and fitted before August but absolutely nothing. Apart from the wooden panels thay haven't even installed and delivered my cover for the Hydropool. Every email that i have chased for the cover, there is radio silence. I have email chains , calls and a whole lot of proof of chasing this company. One would think if a customer has invested in the most expensive product they would not behave in such a manner. However from Nov 2024 till Aug 2025 I'm still waiting for my cover and panels.....beyond ridiculous.

I have not recommended this company to 2 friends who have subsequently purchased a hydropool from another company and are extremely happy. I do not recommend this company. Obviously if i don't get these two items delivered I will be exploring my customer rights. They make an excuse about their carpenter to fit the wooden panels, what about my cover that still hasn't been delivered and installed. Terrible absolutely terrible. Think twice before placing an order

Useless!

We ordered a new hot tub cover in early April, Paid for it up front along with a metal gazebo, the gazebo arrived in July. I Rang to ask why the lid wasn't delivered with it. lt turns out when it came in to the shop they sold it to someone else, even though I had paid for it!
I was promised a refund because they couldn't guarantee if they could get another.
Still waiting nearly a month later for my refund!
Apparently this has to be approved by a director called Marcus, who's harder to contact than the invisible man!
They are absolutely useless!
