My journey with forces homes was a pleasant, reassuring, patient, supportive one. I am happy to have started and ended with this company. I will definitely recommend Forces homes to anyone out there wishing to become a home owner. The customer service you will receive from the team is very professional and polite. I promise you it will be a journey you will never forget.

If you want to be messed around and mislead this is the company for you. It starts with their name, as they have no affiliation with the forces at all and it ends with messing everyone around while making out they are in complete control. Stay away, or you may wish you'd have listened. They cost me 4 months of my life.

Amazing service! I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a house. Takes almost all the stress out of the house buying process, and you are backed by a very knowledgeable team.

Forces Homes was amazing through the process, we didn’t expect it to go through as quick as it did. 3 months and we was in our dream home a week before Christmas, they made everything we wanted come true.

Constant updates and emails kept us in the loop of what was happening, would 100% recommend this company to anyone that’s first time buyers.

I began my journey with Forces Homes in Spring 2023. I knew it was the right time for me to start seriously looking at buying my first home, but I knew I'd need support with the process. This was when I found Forces Homes. The initial phone call with them gave me the confidence I needed that my needs would be met and I would have very little to worry about. Property Consultant Nicole Costello was so approachable and we both made sure that even whilst I was deployed, the house hunt could continue as normal. House viewings and property reports done on my behalf, doubled as light nighttime reading whilst away at sea. After two deployments and much looking, a year later I finally found the property I now call my home and made my offer; it was accepted within less than 24 hours. At this point, Nicole handed over the reigns to Office Manager Chantelle Brown. She was incredible. She reassured me that I need not worry about all the questions I was asking her, and wanted to make sure I was supported at every stage leaving no stone unturned. Chantelle made it her priority to keep me updated, regardless of how much news she had for me. Even the evening I moved in, and afterwards, she had been there for any needs and worries I've had since. The most stressful part of my house buying journey was making sure my house plants were secured in my car on moving day. Forces Homes are second to none at what they do and I recommend to anyone whether they're about to embark on a nine month deployment or have done this many times before that they will be safe under the care of this incredible team. Keep up the hard work Forces Homes and I thank you infinite fathoms.

Forces Homes were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They made the entire process from offer to getting the keys so easy and stress free for me.
Chantelle and the whole team kept me updated along the way and were happy to answer all of my questions(which was a lot) and nothing was a bother for them.
I cannot recommend Forces Homes more if you want the house buying process to be stress free and easy, I would recommend them to anyone.

10 out of 10 for forces homes, from start to finish they were helpful and informative. Even when I was deployed they managed to work around the issues that came with that. The whole team worked hard to get out dream house and me and my family are finally free from SFA! Special thank you to Chantelle for answering all my questions. Always at the end of a phone even after we had completed. You won't be disappointed with forces homes and the whole thing was stress free. Legends.

I was fortunate enough to appoint Forces Home to arrange and deal with the purchase of my new home away from the area I was living in and have done for the past 30 years.I am retired police officer and served 30 years in North Yorkshire Police . The company was very understanding and sympathetic due to my personal circumstances ( Bereavement) , they arranged and dealt with everything and made it a seamless process and any decisions I needed advice on they more than willing to advise accordingly. I would highly recommend their very professional services to anyone moving house.

****FORCES COMMUNITY PLEASE BEWARE****

We have recently been through a purchase agreement with Forces Homes which ultimately left me £5096 out of pocket and with no house to show for it.

Forces Homes fees are high; £5247 for a property purchase of £270,000. They claim that they offer a bespoke, all inclusive house purchase service. We were naive and brought into the clever Forces friendly marketing of this. We read the contract and agreed. That was our biggest mistake.

We identified a property and had an offer accepted. Mortgage application approved, survey complete. All was heading in the right direction. During a routine update we were informed by the vendors agent that there was a delay due to the vendors onward purchase. This was the first time we heard that the vendor was in a chain as we, and I believe FH were unaware of this. I would expect FH to know this information prior to submitting an offer on a property. This concerned us but we were hopeful that this was a small issue and would be a minor delay.

Prior to exchange of contracts, the Vendor pulled out of the sale. We were absolutely devastated as this was to be our forever home. Trying to salvage something from this awful situation we assumed Forces Homes would support us, and assist with another purchase. Unfortunately not, unless we agreed to another purchase agreement (another £5k+) with the offer of a £1k discount. We declined.

FH requested full payment of £5247 minus £151 legal fees. We were informed that 99.9% of work had been carried out so, inline with the contract we were liable for full costs. I requested a break down of costs so that I could understand what I was paying for? How can all work be done when we hadn't signed contracts? FH informed me that they were unable to provide one because each case is different?? Surely they could provide something? i.e idea of survey cost, mortgage application, legal costs.

I reluctantly paid the full invoice. FH were not willing to absorb £1 of incurred costs.

This review should heed as a warning to anybody considering using Forces Homes. They are a business after every penny that they can get. Their contract is water tight so please please please read it thoroughly before you agree and sign. I was extremely naive in thinking that Forces Homes cared about their customers. They would not absorb £1 of the £5096 "accrued" fees or provide a breakdown of these fees. Let that sink in.

**A political response from Forces Homes. No breakdown of costs, and insinuating that the purchase may have fell through because of us is simply misleading and untrue. No willingness to eat a small portion of their profit off of this aborted purchase. A truly horrible company.

And for clarity never once did I say that military personnel shouldn't pay such costs. Laughable.

10/10 have had a positive experience buying a home through FH and would recommend to everyone. They’ve made it so simple to follow their steps and their communication has been faultless throughout. Chantelle and her team have been brilliant. Thank you very much!

Absolutely brilliant. We were recommended forces homes by my parents and I couldn’t have done it without them! They managed everything, chased everything, took a HUGE amount of stress off my shoulders and I’m greatly appreciative of it. Could not recommend them more. Felt very looked after by the whole team but a huge shout of to Chantelle who really explained things to us, all the searched they conduct and why and pushing for completion asap given our situation. Liam and Josh were great with the first part of organising viewing houses and gathering reports for the homes and Will was fantastic with stepping in to cover knowing we had a tight timeframe. So so grateful.

The support teams were understandable and very helpful I highly recommend this to anyone who’s willing to buy a house in the future. Amazing team of professionals who are keen to help in any way possible
