Delayed payout and lack of communication
For a startup e-commerce company, they are okay. I have issues with the fact that for more than 2 months now, I haven’t gotten any payouts. Each time I send mails, I always receive what seems like an automated response. They finally responded well but no timeline on when my payouts will be processed. Just empty hopes. It’s really frustrating. As much as I know they are legit, I feel they can do better for a company in the western world where they have available resources to run the business.
Also, I love the new updates but please are there no better ways of receiving daily updates?
Another I would add is that most prompt on the website does not work, I guess they are a work in progress.

More like a Ponzi Scheme
More like a Ponzi Scheme! I haven’t received any payout since my subscription over 3 Months ago, alleged withdrawal has been pending for over a month! written them several times concerning the delay and was told to continue waiting with no timeline in view! Recently been told to request my refund without interest after holding my money for over 3 Months
Update 03.11.2025:
Forkobo has continued to prove that it’s not reliable. First off everything stated in you contract has not been held unto ( like payout and Refund timeline, expected monthly returns, etc ). You claim that you are not an investment platform, however it’s stated concretely in your contract that if the expected monthly return of a customer is not reached within 2 Months, their Money will be refunded. It’s funny how you think that people will invest their hard earned money in a platform with nothing ( no investment return) to show for it.
I paid for my store since beginning of July and till we speak I have neither received a payout or my Refund ( the so called store was anyways suspended because I called them out ) .
It’s been 11 Business days since my Refund was initiated, and I still haven’t received my Money. I have made several attempts to reach them through emails and telephone, however without success!
This is a last call to Forkobo to refund my Money ( and other Clients Money) , in order to avoid further escalation.

My experience with Forkobo has been great. They are the best E commerce platform I've used so far. Daily sales reports are swift,emails and concerns are rightly attended to. Payouts are sometimes delayed but money comes in eventually. They are a one hundred percent legit E commerce platform. I highly recommend.

I like the business model of the company
What I dislike the fact that the payout is sometimes delayed and the what’s app is not as responsive as it used to be to.
The company is doing well in terms of updating shop owners on daily sales.
Then maybe shop owners can introduce new products to the company. The company can test run to see if it’s scalable. Additionally I am suggesting maybe a warehouse for receiving product for some us that are outside USA.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
I do not like that this company does not understand the importance of proper communication.
I am new to this dropshipping business, and as a matter of fact, I know so little about it, most especially that payouts can delay. Timely communication and response to enquiries will go a long way to assure clients that they can bank on you, however, ForKobo do not carry their clients along, in fact, when they are queried on what is going on, they give vague responses like "Our finance team is actively working to complete the processing. While I’m unable to provide you with an exact timeline, I want to reassure you that no matter the delay, your payout will be received." This is not good enough, you should be able to know what is going on.
I got the above response when my payout has delayed for well over one month without any form of communications, and when I reached out that I took a loan to venture into this business and I need to pay back, the reaponse I got was that I was mounting undue pressure and my store will be closed. To me, this does not seem like an attribute of a good business owner, because I feel intimidated into silence.
ForKobo should do better in keeping their clients in the loop, it goes a long way in maintaining good business relationship.

I would say Forkobo is not a scam
I would say Forkobo is not a scam. Although payout was significantly delayed and communication was slow. I think this can happen to any business. I would say they have also improved with communication and my payout has been processed. Perhaps, they need more hands and we can get a better customer experience. Asides that, they seem to be a trustworthy company even though they stressed me and i had to opt for my payout in naira when i dont need naira and live in the UK. This is because payout to my UK account took such a really long time and perhaps they can look into that for us UK clients. But overall, welldone Forkobo and they strive to do better as we can tell.
