I recently had the pleasure of working with Forts Development for a construction project, and I can't speak highly enough about the entire team. From start to finish, they were nothing short of brilliant.

Tony, the owner, was an absolute standout. His communication was clear, timely, and professional, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. He took the time to understand our needs and always offered practical solutions. It was clear that he had a wealth of experience, and his leadership skills were evident in every aspect of the job.

Ben, owner of Forts Joinery, was an absolute pro. He was always on-site, overseeing every detail and ensuring the work was completed to the highest standard. His knowledge and craftsmanship were evident in every part of the build. Ben's attention to detail and dedication to quality really made a difference, and I felt confident that the project was in great hands.

Tim was also a key part of the team, and his expertise in the more technical aspects of construction was invaluable. He was always willing to offer advice and explain things in a way that made the process easy to understand. Tim's problem-solving abilities and willingness to go above and beyond truly set him apart.

The entire team at Forts Development was fantastic, from the on-site crew to the support staff in the office. Every member was professional, courteous, and dedicated to delivering an excellent result. They kept the project on schedule, within budget, and to an incredibly high standard.

I would highly recommend Forts Development to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled construction company. Tony, Ben, Tim, and the rest of the team made what could have been a stressful experience seamless, and I’m thrilled with the final result!

I would like to wholeheartedly thank Tony & his team at Forts Developments Limited for helping execute an amazing house renovation project for us! His whole team - especially our project manager Erik - have been true partners on this journey for us and we could not be happier with the result.

Our project was a complex house renovation (lasting 10 months), including a two-storey side extension and single storey rear extension alongwith significant refurbishment on the existing ground floor and first floor bedrooms and bathrooms.

We chose FDL over other builders on the basis of the competitiveness of the quote and the other project they'd executed which had a number of features common to the ones which we were planning to build out.

From the very outset FDL and Tony presented a very transparent itemised estimate which provided clarity on how the project would be executed. I am pleased to say that Tony managed the commercial aspects of the project with utmost clarity referring to his original estimate and there were no unplanned surprises on the project on this front.

His project manager, Erik, was an absolute star of the show. He really "owned" all the aspects of this project as his own - took tremendous pride in the quality of his work, his team's work, the overall timelines for execution. As with a project of this size, there are always some unplanned surprises during execution - however there was no issue which Erik could not address with good humour, and a can-do attitude. This is the largest project we have executed and the reason our journey went as smoothly as it did - in a large part - is because of Erik.

Tony's backend team - Visar in particular - were also very helpful in guiding us through all aspects of the project. Visar knows first hand a number of other trades and suppliers and was very helpful in sharing the combined FDL address book to make sure I was able to get the most competitive quotes for anything ranging from 2nd fix items, to windows, doors, ironmongery, tiles, etc. He also took a lot of headache away from me in helping with the co-ordination aspects of these procurements.

Tony himself invested a lot of this time on the project. I could always count on his experience and advice on tricky decisions about various aspects of the build. I always got the sense that Tony applied his tremendous knowledge in the building trade in coming up with what was the best solution for us - be it a decision to retile rooftiles, to the choice of driveway, flooring, air-conditioning - the list is endless.

FDL's support trade crew of electricians, bricklayers, tilers, plumbers, plasterers, decorators were all top notch professionals who took pride in their work and did not cut corners on their respective tasks.

All in all, Tony, Erik & the FDL team helped take our project from a 2-dimensional plan to real life in just over 9 months and I have no hesitation in recommending them for your project !

We did a large back extension with foundation, frame and supporting structure in a detached house. Forts Development have done an extremely good job, in time and largely to cost quoted. It has worked out beyond our expectations, and we are very pleased. They are very friendly and professional as were all of their subcontractors. I would be glad to act as their reference.

Having just undergone an extensive project of extending, re-configuring and refurbishing my property, I can honestly say that the experience with Forts Developments has been stress free for me and my family. A combination of very transparent pricing, quality workmanship and strong project management have all been key to the success. On top of that, Ben and Tony have a great team with a strong work ethic and they are all extremely pleasant to deal with. As with any such project, there will always be problems / mistakes that arise (on both parts), but I found we always worked well together to overcome the problems and then just get on with the job. Because of this, we've achieved an amazing result within the agreed timeframes - I loved working with these guys and can't wait until I have the budget to embark on my next project with them.
