Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great products, slow service and delivery.

The assumption here is that it's a small independent shop because their stock is made up of small bits and bobs, but it seems to be well chosen.

However, they've made a couple of mistakes in terms of customer servicing, for example cancelling one of my orders and refunding an item without notifying me, (I had to find out through Paypal). I called them, they didn't pick up. I sent an email and got a response after I sent two emails about it.

I've ordered another item, but I have no idea when it's coming; a bit like the last product I received from them.

The problem here is they have a slick site and they appear to have a slick delivery notification service, but it doesn't notify you; I have no idea where this item is. I sent another email this morning about it but I don't expect to hear from them today. I was told it would be sent out Saturday just gone, but we are now Thursday and this thing is nowhere to be seen. It's not really helping my perception of them being a small shop that appears to have better things to do.

If they are an independent and perhaps manned with one or two people, they do need to work a little harder on the communication front. Boutiques and the like need to provide a more personalised service than say the amazon's of this world.

I don't want to ruin their opportunities in this market either. I will give them 4 stars even though I feel like the service they have given is a 3 at best. Hopefully they will read this in the spirit that it's been given and to help them see what customers are experiencing in the hope it'll alter their internal structure.
