Had an intermittent fault with Vauxhall Mokka automatic losing all power when hot and would just lose all drive daily and was very dangerous to drive
FRF Swansea said the could not look at it for over 3 weeks so it sat on our driveway for that time asked for a loan car while it was in but was told as it was just a check that it would not warrant one
The car then went into them and they said there was nothing wrong but we refused to take in back as it was could not be driven safely
One of their technicians said he would take it home that night to experience the fault which he did but he didn’t know what it was.
So after 3 more weeks calling them every day and many excuses to myself and the warranty company they had still not touched the car to find out problem
I contacted their group regional service manager who again was saying that they were very busy to look at it
Eventually another technician took it home and again experienced the fault.more weeks went by and daily excuses and the actually looked at the problem and found the fault and rectified it after 5 weeks with then so we did not have the use of the car after calling FRF for nearly 9 weeks
When contacting them finally they still made excuses including that they were delayed due to the warranty company giving permission to carry out work which was a lie as myself and the warranty company rang them every day for the 5 weeks and gave permission instantly.
So basically don’t buy a Vauxhall and definitely don’t take it to FRF Swansea if it needs repairs as you can say goodbye to your car for a long time and will be constantly lied to when you call them
FRF used to have an excellent reputation but they are now probably the worst garage in Swansea to deal with (terrible)

I was dealt with in a kind and professional way and answered all the questions I asked them

The salesman that dealt with me was absolutely professional and polite. He handled everything and ensured it all went through smoothly. No hiccups at all I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I wish all sales people were as competent as him because I’ve had some beauts in the past. I would be very happy to return if they all took a leaf out of his book.

Useless got a new van there been there for weeks and hasn’t been looked at. Waste of time and money
Bought a 5 year old Corsa on 16th July , car body work was nice, but for some reason no caps on tyre valves. But the worst thing was it had a major fault (Slave cylinder), the cruise control would constantly turn off and the car was difficult to get into gear, I only found this fault on my way to Gatwick (for a 2 week holiday). I managed to get the car to the airport and emailed the salesperson that I wanted to return the car on my return for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I had no response (prior to the sale he was all over comms, and would respond in less than 2mins - strange that !!) I arrived at my destination and emailed again , I waited till Monday and had no response. I then added a formal complaint on their website. A few days later I got a response acknowledging my compliant and I could return the car (no apology at all for selling a faulty car), however they wanted to charge me a 40p mileage charge. I responded to them with an email informing them about the 2015 consumer rights act that it was illegal to charge mileage as the car in my ownership less that 30 days (was only 3 days). And if they tried to charge me mileage I would inform trading standards and motor ombudsman. I then had a very apologetic email confirming they would waive the mileage charge and i would get a full refund. I took the car and the V5 logbook back and did get a full refund, but have found out that they have not informed the DVLA of change of ownership. Do not buy from this business
Appalling customer service, they had my sons car for almost a week with no updates from reception, even after asking for regular updates we had to chase every time, asked for courtesy car three times, none available eventually told due to my sons age they couldn`t provide one anyway! This was after being sold a car 2 weeks previously by The Car Warehouse with an engine management light fault. At least I had an apology from their service manager.
I would never ever used Car Warehouse or FRF Motors ever again and would urge every person who is on this website to read my story and reconsider buying your car from there.
I purchased a Vauxhall Grandland in September 2022 and not long after purchasing the car I got engine fault lights which turned the power off on the car. This was taken into the dealership where it was a recall on a wet timing belt. Not long after this was replaced I had oil pressure dash lights and when consulted at my local garage as it was nearer. It was stated the car uses quite a bit of oil and to keep it topped up. I did this and found it was costing me a fortune to keep buying oil as it was uses a lot. My warranty had expired so I had to use my local garage to do the work as it would cost me £125 just for a diagnostic from FRF Bridgend which I have now found out you only pay for an hour and if they dont find the issue in that hour then not much they can do you only pay for an hour.
kept having to top up oil and I repeated on numerous times when I spoke to dealership in warranty and my local garage out of warranty I repeated that my car seems to be burning oil as its using so much. I then started getting engine fault lights again and had oil and filter changes , camshaft sensor changes and in December 2024 I was told by my local garage that my turbo had seized due to lack of oil. I paid for a new turbo and a new battery as that had gone also and the car was driveable but still needed oil being bought for it and the car was driveable for 6 weeks. I finally managed to book my car into FRF Bridgend as I wanted them to check this due to me buying the car from them and the numerous issues I had.
When I booked it into FRF Bridgend for the 31st March 2025 I had low power issues and electrical circuit fault on my dash. My battery which I only just replaced was not charging also.
When I got to FRF Bridgend I was greeted by Glyn and was told I was not booked in to which I showed him the email evidence of me booking it in and for a courtesy car also.
He said he would take the car in but I had no chance of a courtesy car and when my wife asked him he said if I wanted a courtesy car that he could book me in 28th April 2025.
Myself , My wife and my 8 year old daughter was then made to pay for a taxi home and Glyn called me that afternoon and said I needed a new Battery Control Unit and a full service on the car. On the 3rd May 2025 he called me again to say Battery control unit has fixed the electrical fault and that battery is charging and after service I still had a low power issue. They checked it further and found the Turbo had seized again. My local garage said it is in warranty and FRF asked me to take my car off the lot.
My garage checked and confirmed turbo seized and said it is a Vauxhall turbo purchased by Bassets Part Centre. I went back to book it into FRF who refused because they didn't order the turbo despite it being a genuine Vauxhall part.
I had to make a complaint with Vauxhall Customer Care and after a month FRF finally accepted my vehicle in to be worked on. After 3 weeks of testing and going back with the manufacturer the dealership called me to say I needed a new turbo and a new engine. I was quoted £8100 to repair the vehicle.
I complained to Beth Williams the service manager and Dan the sales manager at Car Warehouse Bridgend to discuss the issues I have experienced since purchasing the car in September 2022 and advised my issue that the engine fault was not detected in their previous diagnostic report and was told its because I only pay for an hour and that they would only spot this when checking the turbo diagnostic.
I demanded due to the issues that has affected me emotionally and mentally that my finance be settled due to the amount of issues I have had with the car since I bought it from them and as of 3rd June 2025 I have been told they will do nothing to help and only option I got is to repair the vehicle or terminate my finance and get a default on my credit file. I would give 0 stars if I could.
My parents ordered their new Grandland and the experience couldn’t have been smoother. The customer service is absolutely fantastic, we were dealt with by the lovely Josh who couldn’t help us enough.
Bought a brand new EV corsa mid range in 2022 for in excess of 32k and for the first 2 yrs loved it until last Nov broke down on a busy road with no override to push it to safety. Vauxhall had the car for almost 3mth charged me 260 pound for a new 12v battery as without that couldn't diagnose it. Renewed load of things under the warranty, the 12 v battery wasn't. Had the car back yesterday 3rd Feb 2025. Went to use the car today the 4th and had the same break down and error after lots of 2 and fro with them about charging me for a new battery. Terrible personable treatment from them the store in swansea in particular. Needless to say not happy. Caused lots of inconvenience for road users and me. Do not buy a Vauxhall of any kind and do not ever go to Vauxhall swansea they treat you like your useless.
Clearly they’re selective over what cars they want to service. I filled out the online form on their website to do a Major Service, MOT, and replace the Brake Pads and Discs on my Vauxhall, and even though it said someone will get back to me (they haven’t). This, followed by the other negative reviews, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

My partner and I got car from Car Warehouse on 1st Feb this year. No issues with Car Warehouse. Unfortunately, we had to take it to FRF Vauxhall in Swansea Plasmarl service to check various dashboard fault messages. It took them longer but at the end nothing was done, only a suggestion about one of them as it was about tyre pressure. Then we had issue with window, which I couldn't close once opened on warm summer day. After false promises, unreturned calls, and three weeks we finally got the car back fixed. I was hoping that's the end of it. But no, I couldn't start it a month ago and with the help of our neighbour, we could manage to start it and take it to closest Screwfix. Due to previous poor experience with Vauxhall I was hoping we could get it fixed there instead of taking the car to Frf Vauxhall and avoid dissapointnent. They told me it's battery and it costs £183 to change. As we just had gone into debt due to sudden boiler breakdown I wanted to save money and took it to Frf Vauxhall instead. Longer to fix but at least free due to 2year warranty, right? Not quite. Two weeks for them to change battery (with usual communication issues) and then we physically went there a week ago. They initially said it is ready only for my partner to be told by their manager there that it is not. It now needs changing fuse box. When looking more into their computer application, turns out no one has ordered the part (waiting on what exactly?). When asked about courtesy car, told us we could get it when part arrives! So now it's been a month, still no comms on progress since our visit in Plasmarl. Takeaways from our experience:
1. More then 2 months this car has spent in service out of 9 since we have it (and pay for)
2. To get a update you need to physically go there as communication is a big issue
3. 2 year warranty is only as good as the dealership/service they provide
4. No more cars from Car Warehouse for us if the warranty is through FRF Vauxhall.
5. Due to this delay we had financial loses (mainly due to lost job opportunities) and worsening health (not just mental pressures)
If you're lucky with car it would not matter but if you have any issues and it needs fixing, good luck!

FRF Accident Repair. Direct Line car insurance sent my disabled parents here. Needless to say to say they’re still waiting for the repair. The pictures of the damage won’t upload to their website, on contacting them there was no assistance. They are also unable to supply a suitable disabled vehicle, my mother being a wheelchair user need a car that can accommodate her disability chair or scooter. Avoid this company.
Update I have had a request to remove or update from FRF through Trust-pilot. I have checked and this is definitely where my parents not only used to take their car. But used to have their mobility car from.

Took my Astra to them, paid them for the day to diagnose clutch issue only to be told that they didn't need to look at it because there was a technical bulleting stating that there were parts fitted at time of manufacture that were known to be faulty, so was shocked when they told me I would have to pay £1300 to rectify the issues as it was out of warrantee. I really needed a reliable car for my wife who is disabled, very unfair.

Second time I've had to use this garage for warranty work... Both times I've had to phone at 5pm to be told due to computer issues they have done nothing to my van... First time took 5 days to sort out a single ad blue injector .
Darren at the garage has now sorted out the situation and has been very helpful
