Bought a through the wall 14,000 BTU AC…

Bought a through the wall 14,000 BTU AC model CCW15B10B. I will never purchase a Friedrich anything ever again because of the rude and unprofessional attitudes of the people in the warranty department and the inability to speak with a supervisor over my warranty claim. We only had the unit for less than a year, used it for three months last summer. This year, attempted to use it and it failed to cool, had a diagnostic service tech inspect it and informed me that the coolant was leaking and that they cannot fix this unit as they do not make parts for it anymore. I have the warranty agreement within a year they are supposed to fix it, 100% cost on them, they are trying to tell me I have to accept a prorated amount, which is for years 2-5. Clearly a rip off, I can't understand how they can justify this. They only want to give $675.77, but I paid $925.04. I don't think I should pay one nickel for something that only got 3 months of use. Will be contacting Better Business and any other review website. DO NOT BUY FRIEDRICH!

Stay away

As far as AC units go, they're not bad. The company itself scams the consumer by not standing by its warranty. I spoke with multiple agents and contacted over 20 companies that will not service my unit or I am too far to provide a diagnostic report. Go into their Second Through Fifth Year warranty; nowhere does it say diagnostic or diagnostic report.
I spoke with Melicia today for over 30 minutes. I am still on hold, waiting to be connected to a manager. I was told not to bother because the other rep would tell me there was nothing they could do.
They breached our contract.
I will contact the Better Business Bureau, our attorney general, and the consumer protection office.
Stay away!
Now no one can speak to me because it is their busy season.

Horrible warranty

Ms. Norwood denied a legitimate warranty claim and even denied payment to the warranty center she sent me to where Friedrich was to bear the cost of diagnosis, which they refused to pay diagnostic charges.
It's easy for her to say no to cover the cost of repair or replace the unit, it's the smallest window unit they sell.Countless others have been denied in making us whole under her thumb.

I bought a Friedrich air conditioning…

I bought a Friedrich air conditioning unit which is no longer working.
I have called Friedrich the manufacturer at their customer support number.
they have not been able to give me any appliance repair service information that is useful
the names and numbers of the appliance repair companies that they gave me will not come to my location or they will not service the Friedrich AC unit.
they can't even give me the part number of the control unit for the air conditioner, so I don't even know what to buy in order to replace it.
