FTI - FRAUD, DECEPTION and LIES

Dear All,

Do NOT travel with this agency. They are outrageous and will ruin your holiday spirit.

We booked a family room at the Serita Beach Hotel, Krete, during our summer holiday 19 - 26 July 2020.

At arrival, the Hotel didn’t have a family room and we were put in a smaller double room. We complained to the local FTI representative the next day and he noted our complaint (about 10 more families had the same issue).
We never saw the FTI agent again during our stay.
The hotel told us FTI made the wrong booking - no family rooms were available.
On 20 July, I send an email to FTI, which explained the issue with the room. I asked for a refund of the 300 Euros we paid for the family room upgrade.

FTI responded by email on 11 November 2020. Clearly, they must be very busy. They informed us that their investigation of the matter showed we could have had a family room - if we had asked the reception?
What??? Clearly, a lie... we did this repeatedly.
We also failed to make an official complaint on the spot. What?? We spoke to the FTI agent how made notes and I sent an email to FTI customer service.

I asked FTI to get their facts straight and they responded 25 JAN 2021. This time they said that they double checked everything and again found no mistakes on their behalf... their decision was final - no refund.

sadly, we made a last-minute booking and we never managed to check Trustpilot for reviews of FTI. If you read this - stay away from this company they are frauds and liers.

If I could give less than one star

If I could give less than one star, I would do it. We should have been to Egypt 21.03.2020. Becauce og COVID-19 it was canceled. It’s about 6 month ago, and we haven’t got our money back yet.
I know that they Got help-packeds, but when I White to them they ask for information that I have been given before. It seems like they just want to let time go.

I wish I could give them no stars…

I wish I could give them no stars whatsoever. We booked a hotel through an online website with them. All family members suffer from pre-existing medical conditions and due to that fact we could not travel to our holidays. We attempted to cancel with the online website a day before arrival. Now FTI is asking we pay them the full amount and they refuse to even postpone our booking to next year (even though the hotel advised they would have no issues with such an arrangement). Despicable, horrible customer service. They refuse to even acknowledge the healthy risk a journey abroad could cause to Covid-19 risk groups. All they care about is snatching away people's money!

Agree with the people here

Agree with the people here: the FTI is only interested in your money. I could not go to my planned vacation in Spain as the country was put on lock down - no information from FTI what to do, phone calls ended in limbo, emails go unanswered. Obviously the money I paid was lost, but also completely irresponsible way to treat their guests - no information, nothing. Never again.

Egypt (Happy life village)

We were in Egypt, where at Happy Life Village they have a Guide named Mohammed approx. 170 high. (he sells excursions at Happy life Village) he sold us an excursion for $ 184 which is a lot of money for the excursion to "the blue hole and blue lagoon and one more place" he tells us to bring only 9 euros to the entrance - but we ended up spending $ 248.5 on the outing because a guide named Alex forced us to give tips (because otherwise our stuff wouldn't be taken care of). In addition, Alex got mad and laughed at us in the face after we gave him a tip - he didn't think it was enough for him (though we had told him it was an overly expensive outing already) .... Alex therefore took from the trip without saying goodbye to me and my boyfriend and the extra person who was also on the trip (which he also felt cheated)

The next day we go down to the city to see what it would cost if we went with a local, here we are told it would cost us $ 60 for the same trip, incl. everything (ticket, food, drink etc.) ie we have been "cheated" for about $ 190 if we had known we could get the trip down there. (which the guide at the hotel should have informed us about as he is our only source for the outside world)!

We confronted Mohammed that we felt cheated.
He became very aggressive and unruly, he shouted at us and was threatening in his behavior, besides he shouted throughout the reception that he would hope me and my girlfriend would never come back to the hotel.

I have never ever seen a guide behave so badly towards customers.

In addition, on the same evening we received at. 23 a note in the door that we should meet to talk about our flight departure. We go to the reception to hear what it is, but they refer to the FTI guide Mohammed and we ask him why we got the banknote? he tears it out of his hand at us and says it was a mistake that it wasn't for us. (we are therefore 110% sure that in his aggressions he would have doubted our flight departure and then regretted again).

(besides the bad experience, the trip would have been good, but it has greatly reduced the fact that we have affiliated with Mohammed as a guide. The hotel is super nice and has a cannon good beach / coral reef and the surroundings are good with the possibility of many excursions.)

Partly good partly awful trips!! Names of the guides will be mentioned as it is due to them how good or bad it was!!

So we got a lot to say here and I will mention the names of our guides as well cause this made the difference...!
We made excursions from hurghada to luxor, paradise island and cairo! Starting with luxor it won't be fair to give one star it would deserve full stars as our guide Mohammed was great!! He knew exactly what he was talking about and gave us so much interesting information during the whole trip and made us feel welcome and gave me personally small present as I couldn't buy them on time at the place we went to!! Further he explained us about working conditions and culture so much and was able to answer every question we asked!! Great guide who additionally gave us a short Nile tour which was not even included in the program! At the end he rejected the tips we wanted to offer him due to the fact that he made a amazing job but he refered to the bus driver and that the doesn't want the money but would like us to give it to the drivers!
Second trip to paradise Island was satisfying and we saw beautiful corals and our guide was good as well!!
Last and worst was our guide Hassan al beheer or something like this our guide to cairo!
We had to wake up at 1 to be picked up and they were one hour late!! Further he was rude af and not helpful! The driver was smoking in the bus and had his window open which made us freeze! We couldn't communicate with the driver as our guide hassan went in the back to sleep!! So we were freezing for 4 out of 6 hours! Further he didn't give us good information about anything when we asked we got weird answers like we should ask the kings and not him or stupid looks with no answer! This continued the whole trip long and all the people in the bus got annoyed of course! Later on he told us about additional costs no one told us about before! When we came to the end of the trip he collected money for himself and the drivers seperately which is rude and dishonest af! Lastly he wanted us to fill out an evaluation of the trip which we did and everyone complained on the sheet but this guy hassan comes to me and asks me if I studied egyptology which is unnecessary as I am a tourist and was rude and not able to accept criticism!
AVOID THE GUIDE CALLED HASSAN AL BEHER COMPLAIN IF YOU GOT HIM!!!

4 Sterne Hotel für Bettwanzen - 4 Stars Hotel for Bed Bugs

So etwas nennt man organisierte Nichtzuständigkeit. Wenn ihr also einmal einen Urlaub im Dschungelcamp verbringen wollt, dann bucht FTI. Aus diesem Dschungelcamp holt euch dann aber niemand raus.

It's about the journey 4THOP / MUC, which I booked through FTI for my 83 year old, handicapped mother. The subject of the trip is a stay from 31.12.2018 to 21.1.2019 in a "4 star hotel" on Gran Canaria. This hotel as a 4 star hotel for sale, bordered by fraud: the rooms are musty, from the furniture the Funier burst, in the shower black mold, missing slats in the slatted frames and in the bed bugs. At night time, hundreds of these fell on my mother. That was in the night from the 6th to the 7th of January. Although the hotel assigned her a new room, clothes and shoes had to stay in the room for disinfection. The room was locked and must not be entered. We are always called new days, when we get access to the clothes. Information from yesterday: It will be released at the earliest on Friday and then the holiday is over. My mother relies on her rollator and on orthopedic shoes with gouging. The latter are in the locked room, so they are severely restricted in their mobility and spend the holiday on the balcony or in the cafe. The emergency number of FTI Germany refers to the "customer service", this replies as well as the management of FTI on e-mails and refers by phone to the "customer service" in Gran Canaria, which is not reachable under his normal phone number or his emergency number. This is called organized non-responsibility. So if you want to spend a holiday in the jungle camp, then book FTI. Nobody will get you out of this jungle camp.

FTI, nothing but dilettantes and thieves!!!!!

People, holiday makers, families be warned! This is the worst travel company anyone can think of! They have ripped me off my money and I have received nothing for what I booked for! Contacting them for issues results in abuse and arrogant answers. Zero accountability and also they ping pong responsibility when it comes to it, But not with me. There are strong and clear EU laws and regulations and I will sue their asses and get my money back.

Shame on you FTI, if we wanted to throw money, there are other better and more fun ways to do so than to buy a service that is not provided for. And their CEO should he ashamed too for this horrendous strategy throughout the company.

WARNING! TOURIST TRAPS!

Do not trust anyone outside of your hotel who tries to offer you trips or tours! This is in reference to all hotels in Marokko! I was warned, but I still tried to accept the honesty of the locals. Big mistake! Only the travel agents inside your hotel will provide you with proper service. I have learned the hard way.

Too bad and sad Holiday event for the kids!

Very very bad organization which they grab your money without any service. To sad to have spend money 2882 euro for a joker... After your reservation and money they respond nothing or you have to spend a lot for calls just for an hour to speak someone, who even cannot help you. On the airport they communicate aggressive and go further. There collaboration with the airplane Sunexpress is the same. No help or any guiding service. While you ask for information (call/email) they don't respond. And so we had to loose our whole holiday (2 kids very upset) cause of their miscommunication! NO MORE from HOLLAND!

Nightmare holidays with FTI

I reserved the holidays with FTI through Lastminute, both of them managed the reserve very bad. I chose to pay via überweisung and I never received the email from FTI with their data saying where/when/how to pay or the travel plan. I sent email and called Lastminute because it was the only contact I had. They didn’t answer or said if there was a problem. So I didn't know if the reserve was ok. 10 days later I received a letter by post from FTI saying I must pay the reserve! The problem was that I already reserved another one with other company since I didn't receive any document from them! After a lot of calls with Lastminute and FTI, I discovered what the problem was: Lastminute sent a wrong email to FTI which wasn't my correct email! That’s why I couldn't receive the documents. I cancelled the reservation however the amount of money is huge, 650€. After one month of the event, FTI is making me to go to Court and to pay the cancellation of a holidays that I never could pay even if I wanted because I didn't have the account where to pay due to the very bad management of Lastminute and FTI.
