I placed a order for Boltless Shelving…

I placed a order for Boltless Shelving Upright Connectors Invoice #48213 .They cancelled a few days later saying out of stock after it first showed in transit for delivery .So yes claimed from ppal my refund .Then re ordered a few days ago Order #48242 now waiting to see when or if it will be sent .They cant be contacted by phone they dont reply to there emails i have lost all trust buying from them as the small order should have been sent out by now .So be very careful as the worst customer care of any company i have used in years.

Not moisture resistant

Not moisture resistant.
Do not purchase if your garage is even slightly damp, like most are.
It's a shame I can't attach a photo to show the level of mould and deterioration of the integrity of the shelves after a couple of weeks.
I have had to spend an additional £60 to replace the wood with 12mm plywood.
As for customer service... confrontational, unhelpful and argumentative.
I wouldn't buy again based on my experience.

Why bother

Why bother, never anything but a waste of time these days. Out of stock of spares and All Blue units so you can't match up. Never did get my time before last delivery sorted I had to get refund from Card Company.

Non existent customer service

No problem with ordering or payment, G-Rack have got that sorted, estimated delivery time not met. Tried to contact them by email, messenger, their contact form and via their online business chat. No response from any of them, no help desk phone number to ring. Their customer relations leave a lot to be desired. Satisfaction Guaranteed is definitely not a true statement from them.

Update, yesterday I received the following email response:
Thanks for reaching out! We appreciate your order. I am reaching out to the logistics team immediately and will provide you with a follow-up on the status as soon as I have it as well as keep you updated along the way. We will get back to you as soon as we have the information.
Still no response. The telephone number they give does not exist when you ring it!!!!!

In the end after many a message sent to them I get the following response:
We are truly sorry for this. Upon checking, your order is currently out of stock and we do not have an exact date yet on when this will be available.

As we don't want to keep you waiting, we have cancelled your order and processed your refund.

I only gave them a 1* recommendation as zero was not an option. Think carefully before ordering goods from this company.

Misleading delivery and poor customer service levels

When originally ordering our office racking storage a pop up urged me to place my order within the next few hours for next day delivery, great I thought!

We live in the far South West so was not overly dissapointed that the confirmation suggested a slower delivery.
After the delivery window I was given expired some 5days later, with no news or contact from G-rack I tried phoning the 'customer success team' after being on hold for 55mins and being told my call was important I gave up.

I then contacted the company by email to enquire on the whereabouts of my "next day order" to be told that the goods I ordered were out of stock and would I mind waiting a couple of months.

I build e-commerce websites as part of my job and a live link between inventory and order processing to prevent this from happening is standard, so either the system is not fit for purpose or the site is intentionally mis-leading, either way it caused our business three days of lost time hence the one star, ordered similar product (with higher spec shelves) elsewhere for a few quid more lesson learned.

No good.

No good experience at all. I rarely write bad reviews as contingencies happen all the time. But I do not accept misleading information when I purchase an item online.

Item purchased was shown as "in stock". Delivery expected in 3-5 working days. Payment taken immediately.
After an entire week with no updates nor news, I had to contact customer service a few times to receive the news - finally - that the item was not not in stock, and I had to wait for a few months before receiving the purchased units!?!

This makes me thing that: 1) someone else manufactures the units for them 2) they push sales misinforming shoppers, as goods might not be in stock, 3) if you pay for fast delivery this may not happen. Is there a refund for this? 4) payment has been immediately taken (yes, they offered a refund), 5) complete lack of contact numbers nor human chat to have a quick response.

In a nutshell: while reviews shows the product seem good, the company much less.

Rubbish customer service

Rubbish customer service! No telephone to call about late delivery!!
No way of contacting them immediately!!!!
Delivery not arrived in the days they said it would!!! No email communication!!! Customer must waste their time chasing up issues and writing messages!!! Absolutely disgraceful!!!
False information on their website about delivery and God knows what else!!!
I dread to see what the products will be like!!!!
Do not buy from them!! Avoid at all costs!! Regret buying from them!!

Steer clear from this company

Steer clear from this company, if i could give no star i would! Their customer service is appalling. They allowed me to place an order online, pay for it, i then had to chase them as I had not received any communication regarding delivery, for them to come back (10 days after i placed the order) and say that the shelves are out of stock and that they "might" have them back in a few months time! It's just laughable! I am awaiting my refund.... Please don't waste your time and money on this company.

I bought 5 sets of racking some time…

I bought 5 sets of racking some time ago through Amazon. One set I did not use immediately but when I came to open the box it was missing some parts which stopped me from using it. I contacted you but your were very slow in your response and kept asking for lots of information. Easier to buy the missing part.

Fixed to wall and should last years - I have bought MDF sealant in The Range to waterproof the shelves. Would happily recommend and buy again. Returned my plastic shelves to Screwfix as they are no comparison and actually more expensive than G Rack.
