I sold a game account on G2G over two weeks ago. Support asked for proof of the transaction, which I provided in full:
Complete conversation history with the buyer
A time-stamped video of the buyer confirming everything is working correctly
Despite this, I still can't withdraw my €565, and support keeps giving vague answers about what's still blocking it. It's been 2 weeks of follow-ups with no clear response.

I have ordered one year subscrubtion, and I have paid it, after one and half month subscribtion was canceled. I have contacted support, and they rejected my appeal. They do not protect buyers; anyone can scam you, and you will lose your money there. Do not recommend them!

Reply from G2G
I used G2G because I believed its Buyer Protection would protect buyers from sellers who scam customers. Otherwise, I could have bought directly from the seller for a lower price.
I purchased a 1-month SuperGrok subscription, but it stopped working after only 2 days. I reported the issue immediately and provided screenshots, videos, chat logs, and every piece of evidence G2G requested. The seller stopped responding completely.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I reported the problem before the seller's payment had been fully released. G2G still had the opportunity to protect me as the buyer, yet my refund was denied without explaining how the seller fulfilled their obligation.
In my experience, the platform failed to protect the buyer and instead left me to absorb the loss. After sending the final email rejecting my refund, G2G also stopped responding to my emails.
If a buyer pays for one month, receives only two days of service, provides clear evidence, and still cannot get a refund, then Buyer Protection is meaningless from my perspective.
I have no option except to share my experience publicly. As a content creator with over 100 million monthly views across social media, I review the services I use honestly. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend G2G to anyone who expects reliable buyer protection.

[SCAM WARNING] The "Zero-Cost Account Theft Scam" on G2G & Why Their "GamerProtect" Is A Complete Lie (Lost $80+)
Scam Alert
Hey everyone,
I’m posting this to warn all current and prospective sellers on G2G. If you are selling game accounts (especially Steam) using G2G Auto-Delivery, you are at extreme risk.
I just got scammed out of 2 Steam accounts worth $80+ (Order #1785577492536M4L0 and Order #1785585630973V0JS-1), and G2G Support literally handed my money to the scammer.
I noticed many short posts here complaining about random buyer refunds, but I want to break down the exact step-by-step logic of how this scam works, why sellers currently CANNOT defend against it, and how you can protect yourself.
🚨 How the "Zero-Cost Account Theft Scam" Works:
Instant Purchase & Takeover: The scammer purchases an account delivered via G2G Auto-Delivery. They instantly receive all credentials (Steam ID, password, and Original Registration Email / OGE). They immediately log in and change all passwords, recovery emails, and security settings.
Creating the Trap (Locking Out the Seller): Once the scammer fully secures the account, they spam the G2G chat claiming: "I cannot log in / The account is invalid." When the seller tries to check the account to verify, the seller is naturally locked out because the scammer already changed everything. The seller now has zero access to generate new proof.
Filing the Fake Dispute: The scammer opens an official ticket/dispute with G2G claiming "Account Recovered by Seller."
G2G Support's Total Incompetence & Negligence: When the seller submits official G2G Auto-Delivery Proof of Delivery (PoD) and OGE details, G2G Support completely rejects these proofs, claiming "these are not original credentials" or "they don't prove current access." Because the seller cannot log into the account (which was modified by the scammer!), G2G Support ignores Steam IP logs, ignores in-game activity, and forces a 100% full refund to the scammer every single time.
💸 Why This Is a Win-Win / Zero-Risk Scam for Fraudsters:
If the scam succeeds: The scammer gets a full refund AND keeps the stolen account (100% FREE account).
If the scam fails: The scammer simply keeps the account they paid for.
Zero Penalty: G2G Support does not ban these scammers, allowing them to repeat this on seller after seller.
⚠️ Crucial Advice to Avoid Being Scammed (If You Must Use G2G):
If you are a new or active seller, do NOT fall into this trap. Here is how to protect your assets:
AVOID G2G Auto-Delivery for Full Credentials: Never put all original account details into the automated delivery system.
Enforce 2FA & Manual Handover: Keep Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) active on the account. Force the buyer to contact you in chat for the login code.
Record Full Screen Video Proof: Record the entire manual handover process from start to finish, including showing account status before transfer. This is currently the only way to minimize false disputes.
📢 To All Scammed Sellers — Do NOT Stay Silent!
G2G advertises "GamerProtect: Guarantees Safety for Sellers" on their homepage, but in reality, their support agents actively enable fraudsters.
I will NEVER delete my 1-star review on Trustpilot for this, and I am cutting my losses with this garbage platform. If you have been scammed by this exact method, do NOT remain a silent victim! Leave your reviews on Trustpilot and Reddit to warn others. Only by raising collective awareness can we force G2G to fix their broken support system!
TL;DR: Scammers buy accounts via G2G Auto-Delivery, change all credentials, lie to support saying "can't log in", and G2G support forces 100% refunds to them while they keep the accounts. Avoid Auto-Delivery on G2G at all costs!

This service is scam. I have bought 16 adobe accounts for my country and their seller scammed me. I have sent email to support but they didnt help me. Completely scammer service. 3.200 usd total

So the way the scam works with these guys is that you buy maybe five or ten different accounts across different products over the course of a 6+ months.
About 80% of them have problems, meaning you need to get a refund, and you do. Store credit is easier so that's what you do. But usually each account is only $5 or something, so no one cares.
Then suddenly once you spend a more significant sum, like anything above $30 or $40, the refund process suddenly changes. It's no longer an easy 2 or 3 clicks.
They put you into a AI support system and you need to send an email to get the process started, unlike before. You'll keep getting the same vague replies over and over again.
Eventually you get a human who tells you to wait 7 days for a decision, and then when the 7 days is up they take another few days to make a decision.
I my case the decision was that they're not going to refund me, even though I provided the clear video evidence they ask for, and the two accounts that I bought were very clearly shut down after three days.
So it's more of a long con scam than a basic 'we are going to screw you over the first time you use us' thing. Fine for occasional stuff but all things considered absolutely not worth the hassle.
The industry is inherently scammy but with other marketplaces like G2A, Funpay, Platic, GGSEL, Z2U and GamsGo I don't see any reason to use G2G, they're dishonest and misleading

I am extremely disappointed with how G2G Support handles seller protection. A single buyer purchased TWO Steam accounts from my store, changed the account credentials, played CS2 on them, and then filed bogus "account recovered" complaints for BOTH orders to get full refunds.
The evidence is indisputable:
The buyer was literally caught active and playing CS2 on the sold account on August 4th after taking control (Public Steam ID: 76561199844063230, profile changed to "ReXyyy").
The buyer is engaging in a systematic "freebie scam" by demanding refunds on EVERY account he buys, while all my other customers have 100% smooth transactions.
Despite submitting clear screenshots proving delivery, login activity, and buyer fraud, Agent Sunny ·R and support agents closed the tickets using automated templates and refunded the scammer!
G2G’s platform is actively enabling scammers to steal both accounts and money from legitimate sellers. I demand a senior supervisor to manually review Ticket #5680059 & #5688875, investigate this buyer's fraud pattern, and reimburse my funds immediately.

I purchased your SEMrush account because it was advertised to work for 14 days. However, it stopped working after only 8 days. They said I'm covered 14 days. There is no refund no one replies... all scam

Too many scam sellers, not replying and giving wrong information, fake account, and I can't get a refund from it.

This is a scam portal!
I got a subscription for 12 months, stopped working after 1 month and they say it’s not their problem..
Don’t use it!

Dont buy on their site. Support will not help if someone is trying to scam you.

Hello! The subscription stopped working after only two months, even though it was advertised as valid for 12 months. I believe the product does not match the description and the seller has failed to fulfill their obligations.

I want to be blunt about something. G2G.com is a scam operation dressed up as a marketplace. I do not say that lightly or from a place of ignorance. I spent weeks going back and forth with their support, gathering evidence, documenting every single interaction, and what I discovered is that this company does not care about its buyers whatsoever. They never did.
Let me walk you through exactly how G2G treats the people who hand them money. I bought a digital product from a seller on their platform. Within days, the original account holder came forward and recovered the item. I was out of pocket entirely. I went to G2G to file a dispute. Fair, right? That is what a marketplace does. You protect buyers when something goes wrong. That is the entire reason buyers trust you with their credit cards.
G2G does not protect buyers.
Their dispute process is an AI chatbot loop. It does not understand context. It cannot read documents. It spat out the same three generic responses at me no matter how many times I explained, in detail, exactly what happened and attached every screenshot, invoice, and message thread I had. When I asked to speak with a human, the bot told me my case was being "reviewed" and then closed the ticket anyway. Fourteen times I opened new tickets. Fourteen times I received the same copy-paste nonsense about submitting additional documentation that I had already submitted four times over. The response is always the same. It is a template. A dead letter. A machine telling a human being to be quiet while the machine processes nothing.
Then came the refund denial. After all of that. All of the evidence. All of the effort. They denied my refund citing "policy violations" on my side. I had not violated any policy. I had done everything right. I had purchased through their system, paid through their checkout, and filed within their time window. The seller, meanwhile, has a history of scam behavior and is still active on their platform selling the exact same type of product to the next unsuspecting buyer. G2G will take your money and do nothing. That is the business model in a single sentence.
The worst part is not that they failed me. It is that they made me feel stupid for trying. Every interaction with their support felt designed to exhaust you into giving up. The copy-pasted responses are so sterile and devoid of actual content that you realize you are not being helped. You are being processed. You are a ticket number, not a person. And your money? Your proof? Your frustration? None of it registers in their system because there is no human being on the other end who has the authority or the incentive to do anything other than close the loop and move on.
I want G2G to lose every single seller on their platform. I want their support team to actually hire humans for once and read a ticket from a real person who lost real money. I want the buyers who are currently walking into their traps to know exactly what is waiting for them on the other side. You will be ignored. You will be denied. You will be told you did not do enough while doing everything right. And G2G will keep collecting fees and pretending that none of this matters.
Do not buy from G2G. Do not trust them. They will take your money, ignore your evidence, and laugh all the way to the bank as their sellers defraud the next person. I am done being polite about it. G2G is garbage, and their support system is a disgrace to the word "customer service."

To whom is managing G2G replies here on Trustpilot, instead of replying here, you should go to the ticket and reply there with an update. i've already requested to esclate the ticket to a supervisor and yet still nothing.

Trash Support, even with all my evidence (screenshot & videos) of returning account to seller, and seller ignoring my messages.
G2G support still need to investigate, its been 2 days since the account returned, seller agreed on refunding after return account, however the seller is no longer responding after i returned the account.
-
G2G support is garbage, they claim that they need to investigate, however all evidences show that the seller is a scammer, but G2G is ignoring and just continues to copy and paste "We will notify you via email as soon as there are any updates."
-
Im planning on opening a bank dispute, instead of waiting for their trash support.

Reply from G2G
Takes forever to respond and trys to delay response as much as possible hoping you would forget about it. Customer service is also trash, dont both asking them for a refund, just refund through your bank, much easier.

It's great, the PenguinStore has amazing service and is actually trustworthy. I personally was amazed how good the people are there compared to other stores that may scam people.

Reply from G2G
I bought a 1-month Claude subscription for $125. The account worked on day one, so I acted in good faith and confirmed the order. Immediately after that, the seller revoked the subscription and ran away with the money.
G2G's own security team permanently banned this seller (LowKeysShop) for this exact scam operation! Their shop is gone. But when I contacted support and provided video proof, they completely ignored me. They keep sending me automated bot templates saying the order is "finalized."
I didn't even ask for a real money refund, just store credit to my G2G balance so I can buy from a legit seller. But G2G prefers to steal $125 and protect proven scammers. Terrible support, zero buyer protection for digital services.
