Do Not ever book with this hotel

Do Not ever book with this hotel. Had booked to stay there for Xmas
When arrived on Sat eve Dec 20- was completely locked out. The place was closed. The hotel is Not in operation. A lone unwelcoming male opened the front door & closed it in my face. I immediately had to find another accommodation on Sat eve 4 days before Xmas for the duration of my stay in GT Yarmouth. Have been visiting Yarmouth ,Norfolk for over 6 decades. And this is the worst worst visit ever. So please don't ever book @ the Gables End. Am fighting for a Refund & Compensation
Not a Merry Yule

I’m blind not stupid though Gable End Hotel Gt Yarmouth thins we are

We stayed for 2 nights after a member from our non profit organisation for the Blind & Severely Visually Impaired members stayed there, on arrival I found a couple of trip hazards just going inside, though there aren’t any ground floor rooms I was told the stair treads was wider than usual, first set was ok with a hand rail the next 2 no handrails, room doors very heavy, room was warm bed comfortable, quite clean apart from dust and cobwebs with stale water left in kettle, we bought spring water from Asda for the coffee as it tasted better.
I found the shower too slippery so didn’t use it and just washed in the sink, brought my own towel as there’s a £15 per night per person for towel use and cleaning the room. (£60 charged on debit card after we left), before arriving told no dogs what so ever ! Molly my guide dog had to stay with friends locally.

We booked and paid for breakfast but on a arrival told breakfast was extra £9.50 each per day we had already pad £240 for 2 nights for 2 people they wanted an extra £38 plus the room and towel charge of £60, we could of stayed at the premier inn with all you can eat breakfast for £260 and my guide dog would of been welcome too

Please get a professional organisation like ours to guide you lot of it is free.
