I purchased an expensive musical instrument from GAK's online store that was listed as "in stock." The next day, I received notification that the item was actually unavailable. When I tried to cancel my order, no staff were available to answer calls or manage the online support.
Within 24 hours, GAK's website went offline completely, and it appears the company has ceased trading. Most concerning is that they continued accepting payments from customers like myself even when they were evidently unable to fulfill orders.
Be aware that if you've recently made a purchase from GAK, you may need to contact your payment provider about recovering your funds, as customers are likely to become unsecured creditors.

Placed an online order on Wednesday. I then find out they had closed the day before with rumours of redundancy and administration. Quite happy to take my £1500 knowing this was happening. No email to advise of a delivery so I now fear I’ll be joining a long list of creditors. Absolute crooks!!

The service to purchase and delivery was very good. But one of the items sent was not as expected and despite sending a message through the website and an email I have yet to receive any response.

Spoke to online sales and got a good deal on Darkglass bass cab, arrived swiftly the next day, brilliant.

I was trying to return an effect pedal to GAK they sent me an email asking me to wait 4-5 days as they are having issues with their system. Ive only just found today that they have gone bust! BUGGERS and LIARS!!

Easy to order, and delivery was swift. I chose GAK because they had the two pedals I wanted, unlike other dealers I looked at. Very pleased with the ordering process and the pedals themselves. I've used GAK a few times now, so I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I purchased a Gator SG case from GAK. It was cheaper than any other option and wasn’t made in China! GAK delivered it very quickly and their service was impressive,

EDIT: so now I see they have gone bust so I was lucky to actually receive my case. Their website is down and reports are of an emergency sale, so bear this in mind

Depending on who you get, the online support is either very helpful or useless and dismissive.

The first time around, I got the help I needed and second time, my chat was closed after I asked a question with no resolution.
