Run away !!!! Le wool is pilling from my gloves after only 2 hours of wearing them - doing nothing special. So bad quality ! And I paid 80€. Now they don't answer my mails or my calls. And it is written on website : " high quality of product and services". No !!! you will only loose money like me. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else to buy your stuff. Sad cause photos looks good...

I paid £374 for an order on socks on 1st of June 2023... I paid £62.48 Tax (20% VAT) which is included in the £374 amount.
Received said socks on 6th of June. Really happy...
Then a month later receive an invoice from FedEX saying I owe VAT... Here in the UK we do not pay additional VAT on an order we already pay VAT. If I paid FedEX their VAT, I'd be paying 40% VAT. Which is insane.
Gallo failed to inform their carrier that I already paid the VAT therefore do not need to charge this again.
Anyways, I raised this query somewhere around 2nd of July, and I keep receiving demand letters from FedEX for payment. I'm going to pay this amount now, even though I shouldn't have too as it's factually incorrect that I need to pay 40% VAT.
Gallo overcharges their customers and doesn't help to resolve them. It's too stressful all of this. I will keep talking about this company in its objective form to everyone. I have linked them numerous times that I do not need to pay 40% VAT if I already paid 20%. But they don't get this...
