Ordered a shed in June with a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks got update saying shed is in production and then every week after until this week the 6th of August when I messaged them asking for an update .10 weeks later still in production with no time scale on when it would be ready so cancelled order waiting for refund will never use again

We’ve been extremely disappointed with the service we’ve received.
Our playhouse arrived with missing parts, and it took almost two weeks to receive the replacements after numerous phone calls to the customer service team. We were initially told the missing parts would arrive within 3–7 working days. When we explained that this wasn't acceptable, we were assured they would be sent via Yodel for a quicker delivery. We were given a delivery date, but it came and went with no sign of the parts. When my husband called to chase this, he was told they hadn't even been dispatched.
We then asked to speak to a manager and were promised a call back, which, unsurprisingly, never happened.
Once the replacement parts finally arrived, my dad resumed building the playhouse only to discover that the doors supplied were the wrong size. We are now having to wait yet again for another delivery. On top of that, we've found several pieces of wood that require sanding because they have rough edges that are not safe for children to touch. The overall quality has been very disappointing.
Following everything that has happened, we contacted customer services to request a partial refund in recognition of the poor experience, but this was refused. We then asked whether, as a gesture of goodwill, they would consider upgrading the slide we had purchased, but this request was also declined.
I really wanted to love both the product and the company, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating from start to finish. Between the poor communication, repeated delays, incorrect parts, and disappointing quality, I cannot recommend this company and will not be purchasing from them again.

** UPDATE **

Unfortunately, the problems haven’t ended there. Two weeks later, we are still waiting for the replacement doors. We were once again advised that they would be delivered within 3–7 working days, which was already an unacceptable timeframe given everything that had happened previously.

We haven’t received a dispatch email, and the emails we’ve sent chasing an update have simply been ignored.

At this point, we’ve spent far too much time chasing missing and incorrect parts for a product that should have arrived complete and ready to build. The lack of communication, poor customer service and disappointing quality have made what should have been an exciting purchase an incredibly frustrating experience.

Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend avoiding this company

Full information given, little bit of difficulty getting product to me, but now arrived. One small niggle, when checking contents, several components were of same dimensions, but with different code numbers, but not all items had code attached.

I rang the company as I was struggling to get the discount code to work and eyelash I spoke too was really helpful Communication is good but the delivery company didn't update tracking info, luckily I was in when it turned up!
The greenhouse is lovely and the instructions were ok
Overall I am very pleased and have ordered a shed and will be recommending this company to my friends

The quality and instructions are very poor. The instructions state will take 2 people 8 hours to assemble. I paid 2 handymen £600 for 3 days and the building is not finished or fit for purpose. It was not the fault of the professionals I employed. The instructions are shoddy to say the least and the building did not fit together. Bits were and are still missing. I have wasted £4k on this in total and will have to be demolished. It also states fullY insulated but really just give you some rolls of insulation to do yourself. I have had to waste my money, don’t waste yours.

Not yet received item but an excellent service from intial online ordering. Company have kept me up to date with the process, estimated delivery times, etc.

Ordered a shed but due to unforeseen problems I had to cancel the order. The full money was returned so on this aspect I have to give them full marks.

Was sent two halves of different sheds. Then sent the wrong parts again, then sent the right parts but damaged, then sent the wrong parts again but also damaged. Awful communication, had two wait three weeks for the deliveries of the wrong parts each time. Ended up asking for a refund. My emails and calls were ignored until I head to threaten legal action. Finally got my refund 5 months after I first received the shed. Do not buy from these guys.

Good quality kit. Easy to assemble.

Building is basically good- Walls fit together well and are sturdy. Floor not so much though. Support battens and tongue and groove boards are too flimsy to take much weight. I was short of a few floor boards and had too many roof boards so was able to cut down and make do. Doors a bit warped but hoping will straighten up once bolted in place for some time. Moderate DIY skills are necessary to complete it. On the whole great but the tongue and groove thickness lets it down a bit

One week later unit allegedly goes to production (7th June) this is a 6-8 week window for delivery.

28th June, unit is almost ready.

15th July (now outside the 6 window) we're working hard to prepare everything for despatch.

23rd July, due to demand your order isn't ready yet.

Request an update on what is causing the delay.

28th July Can't advise what's causing the delay, but will be in touch when unit is ready for despatch.

3rd of August (another week on) request update on order. Guess what, it's in production and they'll be in touch when it's ready for despatch.

All responses are very generic, feel like they're copy & paste or preprogrammed ai responses.

If you want transparency and a business who can tell you where about in their production schedule your order is, and a fresh estimate on when it will be ready for despatch. This is not the company for you (or me).

Reading other reviews l'm extremely concerned on the quality of product we'll receive if/when it ever makes it out of production.

Who knows... Certainly not the GBD team 🫤

Never come across a company that so utterly and completely fails in being open and honest.

Is getting a refund easy, no! Now had two delays tactic emails, requesting if they can help further before processing the cancellation and refund.

Absolutely ridiculous!

Delivery earlier than expected.
Kept up to date at all times.

Straight forward ordering.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The wood was soaked when it arrived (after it was weeks late) , the instructions were poor and the roof leaked. Now we have a cabin that has dried out and the wood has warped!it is no longer waterproof and needs rebuilding. BBC watchdog called and are investigating- I would never use this company again.

Would never recommend this company to anyone.
From the start I could never get a response from them unless it was automated which was annoying,had several emails changing dates,but then turned up a week later.
Took a while to put base together due to length and width (16*8)but then putting it together I find that the boards did not line up a lot of feather hedge boards were either damaged or warped but when I unwrapped the guttering it was 4ft too short and they actually bent the long piece of guttering which I have never heard of overall not happy.

Part of the greenhouse was damaged on delivery. The person who erected it was able to glue the split together, saving his time and our money. The greenhouse is okay, just a little flimsy. A lot of money for what it is.

Ordered before reading the reviews, then panicked somewhat. However I needn’t have worried. I was kept well informed throughout, my billy oh Winchester cabin was delivered within the estimated timeframe, everything was present and correct. There were some parts that were not the best quality, the roofing felt isn’t great so we bought some more substantial felt, the door and window framing was quite twisted and warped also, so again purchased other parts but on the whole very happy with my purchase and the service,

Genuinely difficult to understand how a company this comprehensively shite across every dimension of its operation can still be trading.

Literally incapable of packing their products on to a van and delivering them.

Its been nearly 4 months of calling them to confirm they're shipping the correct components, them confirming that's what they're shipping then 2 pieces of unrelated wood showing up on a flatbed.

Pretty sure the 'bespoke buildings' you're told you're getting when you order are literally spare offcuts they're throwing on a van and pretending to be a legitimate company. Theres just no way a competent outfit could ever foul up basic logistics as completely as these chuclefucks.

Avoid like bubonic plauge. Scam company start to finish, going straight to court with them.
