British Academy of Garden Design Reviews 

Ive always wanted to undertake structured training in garden design, and this course was perfect because I could study from home-around my main employment and family commitments.
The course itself was well structured, the assignments were interesting and enjoyable to do with all the necessary course materials available to help me through.
I was pleased and grateful for the support from the tutors, especially as I had a period of time away from making progress on the course due to personal circumstances; there was a time I wondered if I could get back into studying and proceed with the course, but after positive and supportive conversations with course tutors I jumped back into the course and found my focus once more.
Working full time and studying was definitely challenging but I'm so very pleased I pushed myself and encourage anyone to follow their passions and make that effort to open new doors of opportunities for them.

Doing the course online remotely gave me the flexibility to fit the assignments in around my busy schedule, running three businesses and looking after my family. Being able to pick up the course again (having stopped for 1 year to launch our new business), still gave me enough time to produce quality work rather than feeling under pressure to rush through.

Studying with the British Academy of Garden Design has been a genuinely enjoyable and motivating experience. The course feels supportive and inspiring, helping ideas grow into real design confidence along the way.

I'm extremely grateful to BAGD for supporting me through the PG Dip in Garden Design. It's been a real pleasure working through the course work - all the requirements and supporting research material were extremely well presented so I didn't often needed extra pointers, but whenever I asked, Student Services were always helpful and prompt. The lectures and supervision from Julie in the first year were particularly valuable, especially in developing my practical awareness. I feel like I now have the skills and confidence to start approaching clients to help design their gardens.

Amazing way to learn- fits into my busy life in a rural place where commute to on site course just isn’t available…

Yesterday, I submitted my final assignment of the course. Whilst this gives a good feeling that I've completed the course, it's also tinged with a bit of sadness. I enjoyed the course and I've grown with it! The course is amazing, and there is great tutor support. I've learnt so much, and I will continue to research further into the facinating subject of garden design. Thank you for the great experience!

The content is just perfect, the pace you learn and how it is presented makes you feel so confident in the subject matter. I have gone from knowing very little to a full understanding of the topic very quickly.

The course allows me to study a full range of areas and I am feeling more confident as the course progresses.

The BAGD course is very good and extremely intuitive. I am nearly half way through the course and enjoying it very much.

Unit 5 was easy to follow and contained great information.

I started my journey with the Academy in 2020 when Covid19 made me revise my skillset and direction for the future. While other courses provided with very basic training the BAGD allowed me to discover a designer within despite that I do not have inclination for architecture. It is thanks to its effective curriculum that I have become the horticulturalist I wanted to be, created my dream garden and even become a judge of the town's gardens 2025!

Very happy with my experience, the course materials are exceptionally well-structured, gradually building knowledge in a way that deepens my understanding with every unit. Despite studying fully online, I feel supported, and the overall learning experience has so far been incredibly positive and exciting.

The tutors have been very prompt to get my assignments marked and student services have been very helpful when I have been in touch.
I'm enjoying the course and really looking forward to a new career soon.
