I ordered a superior classic compost bin that arrived within a few days. I like the design and it assembled easily.
However the pack was missing one board. I have been calling, leaving voice messages all week and emailing but so far have had no response! So much for after-sales service!

UPDATE
The company did get in touch the following week and apologised blaming phone system problems. They very quickly resolved the issue and sent a gift in compensation.
Now 5 stars!

Ordered "Professional" bin (double) Sept 2022. Bins themselves were "ugly duckling", so the fact that they were a bit warped and the parts to slide down the runners not neceesarily even, boards different lengths so had to carefully size the boards to ensure that it could be constructed was not un-expected, however, needing to replace the screws with longer ones after it's second winter (April 2024) because the wood is rotting doesn't auger well for longevity. Bin lids were not slight seconds but warped really badly in the first year and had fallen apart before 2nd winter: so even short life. (Issue with boards only discovered after second winter as I didn't get round to turning the bins in the autumn: so this is the first time the boards have been moved (front boards only). No idea what state all the side boards are in.

Excellent customer service. Due to a misunderstanding some parts I needed were not in my delivery (and I am not saying this is their fault). I emailed about the issue and was responded to immediately, with the parts dispatched and delivered the next day, all completely free of charge. Thank you.

Ordered some replacement compost bin boards, and it took over a week to arrive. Opened the parcel to find the wrong size was sent out and no one is answering their phone line or emails. Turns out they only work 4 and a half days a week and even though I rang over 10 times at 12.00 on a Friday, they shut at 1.00 no one could be bothered to answer the phone or reply to my email. Very poor customer service.

I purchased a 'Professional' compost heap in 2018 and by 2020 it had fallen apart. The problem was that the slots that were cut in to the posts for the boards to drop in to left too little wood in the post itself. After 2 years the posts were starting to split.
I contacted Gardening Works, who apologised and offered to replace them FOC, which was appreciated. They cited some QA/QC issues back in 2018 and say that their current materials are more robust. Nonetheless, the design is more prone to failure than a simpler one so I opted to recycle the boards in to a more robust structure.
