What a fantastic addition to my garden. Super healthy specimen and already sprouting new growth after just a couple of planted days. Absolutely delighted. Won’t be looking anywhere else for my next plants.

Online ordering process was good. Communication was a little over the top with numerous emails telling me pretty much the same thing. Plant was delivered a day earlier than stated but fortunately I was at home to water and plant the most pot bound and dried up plant I have seen. Luckily it is a drought tolerant plant and will hopefully pick up now it is in the ground

Although our initial delivery date was changed we were well informed and had a very helpful phone call and email updated from Garden plants online. When they arrived they were very well packed and delivered to the garden by the courier. They are now planted and after one week they seem to be thiving healthy plants. Ordered two 1200mm Bougainvillea on 19 March 2026 for a wall on our house. Searched the web for suitable supplier and settled for this one. Plants arrived after a few weeks, and was kept informed of the expected delivery date. Arrived 1st April as promised and both plants were in perfect condition.

Kept informed regularly on the change to delivery date. So excellent comms. Plant arrived in great condition and matched the spec. Now awaiting gardener to plant.

I need to wait to see how my Mimosa tree grows before giving a positive feedback.

I ordered 2 standard camellias last year at £200 each - colour pale pink - a present for my daughter
They arrived in May - not in bloom
THey were not magnificent specimens but I thought with some tender care they would improve
They were well looked after but have just flowered an orange red colour - they remain a little spindly
The company told me this is fine and the colour is fine and it is a year so tough

although i understand plants need to be returned quickly if they are defective , this is difficult if they are a present. when I saw them around a month after they arrived I was a little disappointed but prepared to live with it however it was a year before they bloomed and were were evidently the wrong colour and one which was entirely unacceptable. I was very embarrassed and will need to replace them and have never had this problem with camellias

i was set never to order again but they have now offered to replace the camellias after a more senior person looked at the issue - a company’s response to problems is the best test of service

The plants arrived on time, in excellent condition and well packaged for transit. I'll definitely buy from Garden Plants Online again.

Site made out my plantscomefrom UK. They hide a Italy delivery disclosure for specialized orders in a click tab that needs opening. None my plants were S/O though. Took a month for Delivery date I requested Cancellation over a week in advance. Do not trust the "direct to door" delivery promises on this site. A month after paying £593.17, I was told delivery was "curb-side only" and I was demanded to hire 2-3 men and a crane to move the items myself in finally the delivery date email —contradicting the website's original terms. They claim at very beggining of website delivery page its door delivery or a convient spot you choose, but if you scroll 5 more pages worth down out if 7 they try suddenly add in curb delivery only
When I exercised my statutory right to cancel, "Operations" manager Ruby tried to stall by claiming they were closed while still clearly operating. They then constantly lied and gaslit me id misread theyre email & that it merely invites me to ask where i wanted items delivered. There was NO invitation just a instruction it is curb delivery get to 2-3 men. She insisted my item would be fine to be carried door, which I then said i was very worried i would not be getting a 2metre established tree The Product Manager, Anthony, then sent a long email with grossly incorrect legal information, falsely claiming UK Consumer Law (Consumer Contracts Regulations) doesn't apply to them because they source from Italy. This is a blatant lie to bully customers into keeping orders.
Shockingly, Anthony admitted in writing that my order—including a £354 established Wisteria tree (10-14cm girth)—consisted of "only little plants." This is a total bait-and-switch admission; a 10-14cm girth tree is a heavy, mature specimen, not a "little plant."
The Major Red Flags:
GDPR / DATA BREACH: Anthony revealed private employment and business details of another customer (the "£11k buyer" Rachel who I seen on here was scammed by them & their response to her was to shut up & be greatful) in his emails to me. Disgraceful lack of privacy.
Illegal Penalties: They threatened an unlawful 70% "restocking fee" to prevent a refund.
Harassment: They ignored my formal cancellation and tried to force phone calls despite knowing I am physically vulnerable and recovering from major surgery.
I have reported them to Trading Standards and the ICO. Save your money and buy from a legitimate, transparent UK nursery.
I tried to cancel the order over a week before it left them to be delivered. Once I woukdnt back down to threats. Anthony replied the next day saying items have now been dispatched ( a way of formally gaslighting me) This too turned out to be a lie as several days later his company unaware of what had happened emailed to say the items had just been dispatched ( the day before delivery date) I responded to it though I'd cancelled the order a week prior. At this point Anthony's realised I've got the updated delivery email & replied telling me to reject the plants at the door & jist tell the driver to put them on van when he turns up the next day.
The poor driver was left unsure what to do & kept trying to phone Anthony who would not pick up for him.
On the plants that the man had brought 2 looked OK but the most expensive was all dead at the top. So I was left post op on doorstep feeling bad for the driver Anthony unsuspecting sent on a j9b he knew was cancelled & then ignored him

UPDATE (7th April): The harassment continues.
Since exercising my legal right to cancel, I have been bombarded with aggressive emails from the manager, Anthony. Despite me explicitly stating I am post-surgery and unable to deal with phone calls, he has repeatedly tried to force a confrontation.
Even more shockingly, he has actually accused me of "blackmail" in writing simply for stating I will involve Barclays and Trading Standards to get my statutory refund. He continues to lie about UK law, claiming they aren't bound by it because they source from Italy.
This company does not just have bad delivery; they have a culture of bullying and gaslighting vulnerable customers. If you try to stand up for your rights, they will turn on you and call you a blackmailer. I have now initiated a formal bank chargeback and reported this harassment to the authorities. STAY FAR AWAY!!
UPDATE: The manager Anthony is now hounding my Email & has now resorted to direct personal insults, calling me "insane" and "arrogant" in writing because I requested my statutory refund. On top of this im now being hit with tonnes if spam not just from this firm but from random bogus spam emails non stop. Its a private email so ive never recieved anything to it before this incident, other than where its used for. A truly unhinged and unprofessional response to a simple legal request.
I will not be responding to anymore harrasment from the firm

I got a cactus recently, I also dealt with a lovely sales man, that Kelly woman needs a doctor. The service here was second to none.

If a cactus dies fast like that it’s always frost or over watering. I’ve looked after cactus for years
