Had a car for 5 years and she was…

Had a car for 5 years and she was brilliant, only a few normal issues but that was over time.
Recommended to a family member and the car was complete shambles, had it over finance and luckily was able to back track and cancel and give the car back.
At the same time I traded in my good car for a car that had a broken window mechanism on the test drive they fixed it before I picked it up on the day of actually handing the car to me. It broke straight away.
The car has been ok since and first year MOT a fail, previous MOT prior has one advisory of not being able to check the back seatbelt due to a car seat in the car?? Not sure why a garage would have a car seat in the car.
However, I guess it’s luck of the draw hit or miss in a second hand brought car.

Good and bad experiences from this garage. Probably wouldn’t go back from the past 2 experiences - went back because my first car from here was brilliant.

Fraudsters

Fraudsters. Bought a car which had a few issues. He promised to fix them, and service the car. Left a deposit when I went to collect he had just masked over the issues.
For the service gave me a receipt with parts listed nothing to confirm that service was completed. Told me to come back in 1 week and will fix other issues when I went back he said go to a garage next to green lane mosque but I have to pay the bill. He denied the faults. Once they take your money they dont want to know you. The place is run by father and son both are fraudsters. After purchase noticed car had been repaired but they denied that. BE AWARE THAT THIS GARAGE SPECIALISES IN CAT S & N REPAIRS WHICH THEY DO ON SITE NEXT DOOR TO THEM. Always pay via credit card so you can at least get your money back. They always want bank transfer. AVOID THESE CON ARTISTS MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT TO THEM THEN PEOPLES LIFES. Everyone please report them to trading standards they need to be shut down

Do not buy from this garage!

I bought a car from this garage which is posted in Autotrader. The car was not categorized for any accident and there is no information of any problem. When I received the car last 21 June 2023, it has so many dents. Both wing mirror were sticked with new skin or wallpaper. The left wing mirror is broken which wiggles when I across the humps. The bump fender or bumper is glued together, tires are rusty and scratches on the side. It is my mistake not checking the rate of this garage as I was so excited to have my first car and most people told me to buy in a garage than a private ones for the warranty. I have ring them about the problem and told me to email it but no response. And I still did not receive my V5 on this car. I will send this car for service tomorrow to see any problem aside from what I have mentioned. It is so disgusting for £4k car.

Unsafe car - we had to send bailiffs!

I bought a car on May 29th and collected it on May 31st as they promised to have it serviced & to repair the obvious faults noticed on the test drive.
The engine light came on as I left the garage, but I was assured it was just a sensor & they would repair it if I brought the car back later. I never received proof of the service or repairs, and am confident these were lies to convince me to purchase the car.

After 9 attempts at contacting the company, including speaking to the director, Ash, over the phone, I exhausted all options (including offering to return the car) and was forced to repair the car at my expense.

Within the first month of owning the car, I was forced to spend £2600 on repairs as the car was deemed unsafe & unroadworthy. The car only cost £2,790!!
Repairs included a new head gasket, radiator, battery, brakes and attempts to fix a faulty speedometer (still having difficulties repairing this!). 5 months later I am still paying to repair faults that were present when I bought the car.

I had no choice but to file a small claims court appeal, which was won without contest as the debtor did not even reply! Despite a county court judgement, I have had to issue bailiffs to collect the money owed. I intend to take this further as this company should not be operating.

Do not make the same mistake I did!

My advice would be to not go anywhere…

My advice would be to not go anywhere near this garage. I wish I had read the reviews before even entertaining buying a car from them. I purchased a car from them end of August, we still have not received the V5. On first filling up the car I noticed the petrol gauge read full constantly, and the interior lights did not work. We arranged for a mechanic to look over it and do a mini service. He brought it back immediately and stated 'do not drive it, its a death trap'. Unfortunately we were out of our 30 days for money back so we swapped the car for another, taking a mechanic with us. He checked all the vehicles at the same value, all had faults. We told them all the problems with the original vehicle which included a bent bar underneath, no driver air bag, wiring just tied up and not fixed, plus 14 faults registered on a diagnostic machine. They have just put it straight back on the forcourt - DO NOT BUY!

Thieves, liars. DO NOT BUY HERE..

Sold me a car after the one I wanted overheated within 10 minutes. When I got home after a 150 mile drive I found that they front tyres were down to 10psi and I had to replace them. Turns out the car I ended up with was CAT S but I wasn't told about it, which is illegal. The sales guy wrote "trade sale CAT S" on the receipt after I had signed it but I didn't notice until 6 months later when I tried to part-ex the car only to be told it was CAT S and virtually worthless.

Here are some mobile numbers (they don't have a landline or a business email address) of these rogue car dealers:

07537 122569
07949 995377

I bought a car from here in Feb

I bought a car from here in Feb. They treat you like a best mate, sweet talk till the cows come home.
I picked up my car and I was told he just had the whole exhaust replaced as it was blowing. He reassured me that he does not do half measures and goes out he's way to please. I've just had it inspected at Kwik Fit and they told me it's a cheap exhaust and it has had a clown of a job at welding the original blow.
The garage is a joke so don't trust them at all. They will try and pull the wool over your eyes and take your hard earned cash

Takes forever to get ur cash back ..if u get it at all.

Bought a car from them, went middle of week, saw a few faults that needed attention/repair, agreed to buy car on basis that faults and repairs done. Picked car up today, all repairs done as promised, even showed me messages and pictures from mechanic to prove done. Very happy, and would highly recommend. 👍

A dishonest dealership

They talk the talk to get sales but eventually you'll see through all that. I drove all the way from London to see a vehicle that was advertised as just 1 years old with no damage history. Turned out it had a whole side repaired and very badly. They didn't even tell me this until I spotted all the signs. They promised to refund my £100 deposit but 2 months later, I'm still waiting. So many broken cars around the dealership, clearly evident that they are cosmetically repairing cars to a poor standard and selling them without full disclosure of any damages. I would avoid buying from here.

Most dishonest and rude dealer I've dealt with. Stay away . Avoid !

Garrison trade centre Limited formerly Car Point Midlands Ltd - “The name you can trust” – unfortunately prime example of a dealership that cannot be trusted and should be avoided at all costs. I was sold a vehicle that had significant number of faults surprisingly it just passed MOT. An independent inspection revealed repair costs in excess of £600 a week after passing MOT. MOTs done by this dealer are not genuine and cannot be trusted. If you think dealer is quick to reply to your queries, just wait till you come across a problem. Paid extra for a warranty which never arrived “it will be sent to your email the next day” do not fall for this, it’s a complete scam. Vehicle rejected within 30 days. No response from dealer .Court action had to be taken. Do not trust, avoid at all costs! "
- if you ever decide to buy from Garrison trade centre limited make sure you correspond via text in case something goes wrong as they've started using landline.
