Details of current state of this company

If anyone wants to find out more about what is happening to this company (Gary Fullwood Design Living) just go the Companies House website and key in the company name. There you will find details of the Liquidator Company and lists of amounts/people owed money. The total amount owed appears to be very high!

It seems that Fullwood is now working at a Bathroom design company in St Albans.

Gary Fullwood is a fraudster

Gary Fullwood is a fraudster. Please please avoid at all costs. Do your research on him. Second time he’s liquidated his company and and been in massive debt with HMRC and still taken our money and many others with no intention in providing kitchens/bathrooms. He told us that we needed to pay in full to start production of our kitchen which we did, and then he gave us a delivery date issued from the manufacturer which he made up! He then confessed to us down the line that he never placed the order on our kitchen, months later! Outright theft and fraud! Again please read up on him, and stay away.

We were 8/10ths through our bathroom…

We were 8/10ths through our bathroom design when he went bust.
We cannot fault workmanship and products however our attempts to contact via email have all been returned.
I am guessing the remaining products may not have been ordered, and like previous comments we had fully paid up by this point.
I wonder who is dealing with creditors?

60 K spent for an order that never happened

We paid a deposit to get a kitchen installed in May before handing over significant monies to Gary Fullwood over a period of months. Three days after he cashes our final cheque for 21K, we are told he has gone under. On closer inspection, I find out from the manufacturers in Wales that he never did put an order in for us back in May when we first paid him. He stole the money - pure and simple; he knew exactly what he was doing. Interestingly, his 'financial director', Karl Anscombe - a long term business colleague and likely accomplice in this fraudulent behaviour - resigned just a short time before the voluntary insolvency. Coincidence? I think not. Bottom line is: we have lost 60 K and have no kitchen and Gary Fullwood will not respond to calls, emails or texts. I have since discovered there are many more people whom Gary Fullwood has scammed out of a lot of money. What is even more surprising, there is news on the grapevine he is planning a comeback under some other business guise - probably with his partner-in-crime, Karl Anscombe. Watch out for these men. Having had many face-to-face dealings with Gary Fullwood - we would regularly visit his showroom with our kids in order to plan our kitchen - I realise that, rather than being simply inept, he is a pathological liar and a criminal. He belongs behind bars.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, they don't answer phone calls or emails and you are constantly chasing them. I had a major issue with them which didn't get resolved for 5 months. Finally we had to get mediators involved to settle it as the constant ignoring of messages became worrying when they were sitting on my money and not processing any refund. Its a shame for a small business not to care about their customers experience.

The worst kitchen and bathroom fit company?

I've written up a fuller account of my experience with the previous incarnation of this company at wbandk.wordpress.com but for a shorter version, read on.

The same people who run this company also ran Watford Kitchens and Bathrooms. I asked WB&K to completely remodel my kitchen, including electric underfloor heating. They left the floor full of bumps and water-collecting hollows, and after desultory attempts to rectify, abandoned me to find my own solution. To cut a longer story short I had to pay another company several thousand pounds to remove the floor down to the substrate and relay properly. I took WB&K to the Small Claims Court, but WB&K managed to "lose" and/or ignore court documents until they had bought enough time to go into liquidation, leaving their debts behind. Remember it's the same management running Gary Fullwood, so don't be surprised if they cut and run on you!
