The case of the missing ham!..
We used to call in to the Gaskell Arms Hotel for a light snack on a regular basis. On the last to occasions we asked for ham sandwiches and coffee. Well due to a previous experience we opened our sandwiches removed a large amount of undressed green leaves (obviously there to cover the fact there was no ham) and found that there was a 1/2" piece of ham and the rest was fat! The bread had obviously been frozen as it was still soggy from bieng defrosted. I showed it to a local taxi driver who had called in and he laughed.
Don't go there... like the lion hotel in Shrewsbury.... they haven't got a clue, it's a bit like Faulty Towers.
