GDefy has Gone Downhill

I had previously been a loud supportive customer of gdefy, encouraging everyone to order from them. They used to be great shoes.
NEVER AGAIN!
Something happened in the last year to the company. The materials used are now cheap and cheaply adhered together and the shoes fall apart quickly.
I had purchased a pair in January and emailed after 4 months, yes, outside of the 60 days, but I assumed that a defective pair the company would want to be corrected, but alas, I have not heard anything and I am sure they will not assist me after reading reviews. I just want it known somewhere that they have lost many customers due to changing to cheaper materials and having horrible customer service. I will never purchase a gdefyer shoe ever again and I will tell everyone I can not to purchase from gdefy as well. Do better gdefy!

No refund given

I ordered a pair of trainers in October 2025 via the UK portal on the G-defy website. When they arrived they were unfortunately a US size 6 rather than a UK size 6. I returned the trainers following the instructions on the website and recieved an email from G-defy on 17th November 2025 saying thhey had recieved them. But there has been NO refund despite many emails. Shocking customer service and robbery!

Poor Quality of Workmanship

I've bought numerous pairs of these shoes and found them comfortable. Bought a pair of the Hickers and had them for a short period of time and didn't wear them very much. The shoes started falling apart. I contraceptive customer service and they acted like, oh well, there's nothing we can do about it. I told them I am a multiple returning customer and asked what they can do to help me out. Standard answer of, "it's has to be reported within 60 days of purchasing. Nothing we can do about it." When you pay a good sum of money for something like that, you expect it to hold up. Took them to a couple of repair shops and was told they cannot be repaired. Must be made in China.

If there was an option for zero stars

If there was an option for zero stars, this company would get it. I ordered three pairs of shoes. They were taking quite a while to get delivered. In the meantime, the shoes I ordered were reduced a lot from the price I paid. I emailed the company and asked for a price adjustment. I'm told "no". I tell them to just cancel the order. The rep tells me to just refuse the box when it arrives, so that's what I did. Weeks pass, and I'm still waiting for my refund. I can see on tracking that the box was returned to the company. I emailed multiple times and couldn't get a response. I finally call and speak to someone who tells me 'Oh, the box is probably sitting in our holding area where we keep returns'. During this time I had to pay my credit card for the shoes (over $300!) when the charge should've been removed weeks earlier. I would walk barefooted before I ever order another pair of shoes from this company. Do not patronize a company that doesn't put customer service first. I ended up purchasing three pairs of shoes from another company that offers shoes with the same benefits that I would've purchased from G-Defy.

Customer service NIL

I don't know about the shoes - but the customer service is NIL. If customer service actually read my inquiry and answered it perhaps I'd buy a pair of shoes to rate them.
