WH11X39237 "In Progress" for over 48 hours
I ordered WH11X39237 - a "popular" replacement part for the GE Profile combo washer/dryer because it has such a high failure rate. It was listed as in stock and was offered with an option for next day shipping, with an express proviso orders had to be placed in advance of the 1pm EST cutoff for same day processing. I ordered at 940am and chose next day shipping. By 940 the following morning my order was "in progress," not handed off to a carrier. By 0940 the morning after that, it was still "in progress" and not handed off to a carrier. I called customer service each day to verify that the part was not actually backordered, which is a widely reported reason an order like mine would fail to move into shipped status. Each call, customer service insisted my order had been fulfilled and was awaiting pickup. The second call the customer service rep told me I could expect to receive my order the following day. I asked how that was possible if the order had not been picked up by a carrier yet and he could not answer and changed the subject to ask if I wanted to be connected to request a refund for the next day shipping charges. I said yes and was connected to a message that the office that handles that was closed. I have written customer service twice and have received no response.
