I live in Las Vegas, NV, and a 72 year old lady couldn’t drive straight and bumped my 2026 Nissan Sentra, on the rear passenger side and left a dent and big scratch. She was insured by Geico and Geico... See more

Disappointed 15+ year customer
I've been a Geico customer for over 15 years (nearly every year since I got my driver's license) & I had no issues until now. I took my vehicle to a shop for repairs in 2021 (almost 5 years ago) & unfortunately, that shop did a poor/faulty job and welded metals that don't provide a good seal, which resulted in a major oil leak from my front differential now (nearly 5 years later). I'm grateful to have Geico, since they have lifetime warranty coverage for faulty work.
I am not happy about the many difficulties involved in the claim process for this. I initially spoke with 2 reps who seemed to be going above & beyond to help with this claim, but they didn't actually do anything they said they were doing. I provided lots of information that didn't get entered into my account, which delayed my repairs a whole extra week!
I also haven't been getting returned calls as promised from my adjuster or her supervisor, & they put the warranty work under the original claim #, which means I don't get the benefit of having a rental vehicle (which is included in my policy) since I maxed out my rental coverage for the original claim back in 2021. How ridiculous! I've been a loyal customer for over a decade (nearly my entire adult life) & I'm expected to suffer for something I didn't cause.
How hard would it be to create a new claim # with the original claim attached, or to just revise the original claim to include another round of rental coverage to make up for the unexpected & unnecessary impact of the original faulty work? I am looking at 2+ weeks before my vehicle is repaired. I don't even know yet whether there is more damage caused by this.
Thanks Geico, for ALL of the additional stress that resulted in your customer service downfalls & rapatious policy when it comes to rental vehicles. I'll be shopping around to see how other insurance agencies are handling their customers' needs. Y'all can do better, Geico...I've seen it for years!
Absolute worst horrible experience…
Absolute worst horrible experience waiting to talk to someone. The recording goes in circle. asking your date of birth, state, then repeat, then recorded advertising for geico, about how geico is at your service. HOW? they are not at our service. Amazon has 1 billion customers and I can talk to customer service a real person withing 30 seconds, resolving my issue. I was on the phone for 2 hours just waiting for the recording to end. I finally hung up. I was calling to change my homeowners coverage and never got an agent. Absolutely ruins your day, just when you think everything is going well. I am switching before I need to make a claim. GEICO customer service number is an absolute waste of time, you will never get an agent. Geico should be kicked off the stock market and face a lawsuit. HORRIBLE. what do you expect from acompany ythat has the worst ugliest mascot.
Please please do not trust Geico
Please please do not trust Geico. We were a customer for 27 years and luckily on had to use service once. After many many years of giving them money when I needed them most they refused to pay but a measly $100.00. They were not concerned for my safety but over an addendum I signed some 20years ago! Geico does not care for their customers only the money! Please please don’t trust them even if they are a little cheaper.
Unnecessary Delays
This is the worst experience I've ever had with any company. I know they have a reputation for being a low cost insurance company. But that low cost comes at a cost to you. I was recently hit by one of their insured. For a minor car repair it took 22 days to get my car not because of the auto body shop but because Geico nickel and dimed them every step of the way. They wanted to put cheap parts in even though my car had original Toyota parts when it was hit. I spent at least 6 hours trying to get this resolved. My car was ready on Friday I didn't get it until Tuesday and only because I showed up at the auto body shop and made them have two conference calls with Geico. It was a very small claim and you can't believe how they argued over everything. A really horrible experience I'm glad it's over. My interaction with Scott P the adjuster was horrible. He never even came out and looked at the car.
Geico customers be aware switch now…
Geico customers be aware switch now with other insurance til you have time. This insurance company is the most bias insurance. Our car got hit by another geico customer and they want 50/50 even if it's not our fault! They want to collect both parties so they save and both parties suffer even the victim. I work at the dealership and would never recommend again this insurance company! I've learned my lesson.
Worst service provider
Worst service provider. Don’t fall into there trap.
Hiking rates..
Hiking rates... I mean do I need to say anymore? I'm paying $400/month for an $8000 car because I'm a young man even though I have a perfect record, no tickets, no accidents. The manager on the phone was blaming me for the rate hike saying it was due to negligence of the drive easy program, but even without drive easy, I shouldn't be paying $400 a month with a perfect record and they won't even negotiate a cheaper rate after being loyal for years. They suck... See you soon State Farm
I'm very disappointed in this company
I'm very disappointed in this company. Myself and my family have been with them for over 34 yrs. Their rates have doubled in the past few months. I would definitely not go back with them. I had homeowners and auto. My homeowners went from $1200.00 up to almost $4000.00 in one year. Car insurance just jumped to double.
RIDICULOUS
The customer service is simply ridiculous...
Here we are in the 21st century, and I can't get anything done online regarding my commercial auto insurance.
A company that claims to be the largest in the US should be more competent.
Every time I contact them, I have to wait 20 minutes for someone to answer, and they can barely give me a satisfactory answer.
RIDICULOUS.

Just a FYI for those who are having issues with GEICO’s A
GEICO’s AI is horrendous and extremely frustrating while trying to deal with the claim. It is by far the worse AI that I have been forced to use. The amount of errors their AI is making is ridiculous. I finally reached a live person this morning and it took me forever and 3 separate calls to get to talk to a human. AI couldn’t not transfer me stating it didn’t have the ability to transfer me and spoke at an unprofessional second grade level. When speaking to the human rep I requested that the issues needs to be elevated to upper management. The rep stated that they have all been highlighting the complaints so they can address the problems. She also stated the AI issues have been an ongoing issues since they started using it several months ago! They are aware but the issues are not being fixed. I read review recently and the majority of the complaints are AI issues. It appears that AI is also behind their automated payment and online features. I’m getting constant texts stating I have incomplete forms to complete yet I can’t find them. After my claim is done and I receive payment for my out of pocket expenses because I was not a fault I will be looking for another insurance co. It’s sad because I have NEVER had any issues in over 36 years with them not to mention I am covering my son’s auto insurance and he lives in Florida. I’m not looking forward to the hassle I’m going to get.
I had an awesome experience with the…Janet
I had an awesome experience with the whole Geico claims. I believe her name was Janet and I believe she was working from home in Texas. She was filled with information, pleasant, quick, understanding, professional and you could hear her smile through my android. No one wants to deal being without their vehicle but accidents happen and my experience was perfect. Thank you Janet from Geico. You are #1! thank you Michelle Labianco which it's really Micshelle LoBianco

I am extremely disappointed with my experience handling my recent accident claim with GEICO.
I spoke with two different agents, and both appeared to assign fault to me almost immediately, without conducting what I believe was a thorough investigation. The assumption seemed to be that because my vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle, I was automatically at fault.
What concerns me most is that there was little interest in understanding the circumstances that led to the collision. The other driver came to a sudden stop on a highway, yet there was no discussion about potential contributing factors such as distracted driving, unsafe braking, road conditions, or other evidence that could have played a role.
If fault is automatically assigned to the driver in the rear without a complete investigation, then it raises serious questions about the fairness of the claims process. It creates the impression that the facts, evidence, and circumstances of an accident do not matter because the conclusion has already been reached before a proper review is conducted.
Customers deserve a fair, objective, and thorough investigation. Insurance companies should evaluate all available evidence rather than relying solely on assumptions. I expected a more balanced review of the incident, but instead felt that my side of the story was dismissed before the investigation had even begun.
Pimped out
I have auto pay set up.. They're charging me way more all of the sudden. Try to call, billing is closed. I call back twice, once got tired of the hold music, second time the billing department closes and the phone hangs up. By now I've waited hours. I tried the app, chats giving a never ending loading loop( everything else worked) I tried the browser, "chat now" button, did nothing, literally like tapping glass. The rest of the site worked fine. I'm like .. they're f@#king with me right? I hate this company.. this isn't even the first time it's happened. I should've learned.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. My credit was pulled without my authorization and I can't even get a hold of anyone to tell them that what they did was ILLEGAL and that I do not want anything like this to happen again. What a shame to see how a company knows that what they provide is a scam, but they don't care because they figured out a way to take people's money.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Don't go with them. I tried to get an insurance policy. I was on the phone for 15 mins with an automated service. Then when I got a person, 40 mins then he couldn't take my payment information and routed me to someone else who didn't have the history. When I bought the policy they put in wrong information. Then called back and only get automated service. I will never ever go with Geico. Go with Liberty Mutual bc they answer the phones with a human being. I am being frustrated.

I had to pay two months upfront for Commercial insurance, decided to revoke my DOT number, they not only rejected my refund, they sent me a bill… I am out over $8000 for the intitial start up, I received a bill for more. Avoid them at all cost, they will railroad you.
GEICO IS A HORRIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY
GEICO IS A HORRIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY. BE VERY CARFUL, THEY HAVE DECEPTIVE POLICIES THAT WILL SCREW YOU THEN THEY DONT ANSWER YOUR CALLS OR EMAILS. FIND ANOTHER INSURANCE COMPANY!!! THEY PUT YOU IN SORRY POLICIES AND DONT EXPLAIN TERMS LIKE ACV!! THEY ARE A RIP OFF!! THEN BE CAREFUL WHEN THEY RENEW, THEY SWITCH THE TERMS WITHOUT YOU BEING AWARE
This is the worse insurance company…
This is the worse insurance company I’ve ever dealt with for over a month was trying to get my adjuster to return a call spoke to his supervisor he was useless. The past 3 days I’ve been trying to reach someone in corporate or an executive customer relations agent and they keep connecting me to claims the dept I’m having the issues with. I will not pay another penny to this company I will switch even if it cost me more!
Tough times, GEICO with the save
I’m going through a very severe financial bind and was switching insurance companies in order to save. When I called to cancel they worked out a deal for me to save me twice as much money then I thought in order to stay since I had been with them for over 16yrs. The tears of joy I let loose after the help I received would have made someone uncomfortable seeing my crying face.
