Read reviews before you put…

Read reviews before you put your money here. They are not reliable and won't allow you to withdraw after deposit. Support are also terrible, they don't respond to messages. Stay away guys. Since I started using VINE HASH. I have never had problems in withdrawing my funds and their support are always active.

Gemini Is Holding $28,740 of My Money and Refuses to Give Me Straight Answers

UPDATE 10/26/2026 - after filing complaints with three regulators a Better Business Bureau and trust pilot - Gemini released. My funds were withdrawn today. - it’s true that taking action gets results if you have problems with them similarly to below:

* Filed a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
* Filed a complaint with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.
* Filed a consumer protection complaint with the Florida Attorney General.
* Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
* Filed an initial complaint with the New York Department of Financial Services, which referred me to the appropriate regulators.
* Submitted this Trustpilot review and repeatedly escalated the matter directly with Gemini.

I cannot establish which action prompted Gemini’s decision, but the resolution followed these coordinated escalations.

I achieved my objective, although the funds have not yet arrived in my bank account. Gemini estimates 3–4 business days.

My advice: Document everything, preserve every communication, and escalate through the appropriate regulatory channels when ordinary customer support fails.

END OF UPDATE

Gemini has effectively locked me out of approximately $28,740 of my own money, and its handling of this situation has been absolutely appalling.

Since October 15, 2026, Gemini has prevented me from withdrawing my USD funds to my own previously verified bank account. I have complied with its verification demands, provided additional identification and documentation through its designated secure system, and repeatedly requested a meaningful explanation.

From the very beginning, Gemini’s responses have been canned, repetitive, and almost entirely devoid of useful information.

I have received automated acknowledgments, AI-generated replies, and nearly identical messages telling me that my account is under review, that someone will assist me shortly, or that Gemini appreciates my patience.

Different support tickets. Different representatives. Essentially the same useless responses.

After all these communications, I STILL HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY MONEY.

Gemini has not provided a meaningful explanation of the restriction, identified any outstanding action I can take, given me a credible timetable, or explained how I can recover my funds.

I understand that cryptocurrency exchanges have legitimate security and compliance obligations. I have never objected to reasonable verification or lawful compliance procedures. What I object to is being denied access to nearly $29,000 while being subjected to an endless cycle of generic assurances that resolve absolutely nothing.

I have been cooperative throughout this process. Gemini acknowledged receiving my additional verification documents. Yet nothing has changed.

This is not merely poor customer service. When a financial institution restricts access to a substantial amount of a customer’s money, it has a responsibility to communicate meaningfully, subject to legitimate legal and regulatory limitations. Repeatedly telling someone to be patient is not an adequate substitute for an actual resolution.

I have now escalated this matter through formal complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, the Florida Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau.

As of October 25, 2026, my funds remain inaccessible, and Gemini has still not given me a meaningful path to resolution.

My message to prospective customers is simple: Think very carefully before entrusting significant funds to Gemini. My experience demonstrates how quickly access to your money can become restricted and how extraordinarily difficult it can be to obtain meaningful answers afterward.

I want my money released to my verified bank account, or a clear, lawful explanation of the remaining requirements and a definite procedure for returning it.

Until Gemini resolves this matter, I consider my experience with this company completely unacceptable.

Its really bad Model

Its really bad Model, be carful guys dont pay any subscription at home, i pay the subscription and all the times do a mastakes and have real bad work at all the thinking the generating and everytime he just spend my time and my money without a result, im asking everyone to make a bad review here ,
Zero stars if I could. Gemini is completely useless for video generation and a complete waste of time and subscription money.
It spent over an hour making false promises, telling me it could generate and edit custom videos using my photos and scripts, taking me through endless prompt adjustments and setup steps. Then, when it came time to actually produce anything, every single attempt failed.
Instead of admitting its technical limitations and strict tool blocks right at the start, it kept changing its story, making excuses, and leading me in circles. Misleading, incompetent, and a total waste of time. Avoid

They’re great, until there’s a problem

They’re great, until they’re not. My card number was stolen, skimmed or whatever, and Gemini declined several charges that were deemed suspicious. However, 2 charges made it through, even though multiple charges from the same 2 places had previously been declined. I cancelled the card and filed disputes for those charges. About a week later I got an email saying that my dispute was denied and I owe the money, plus interest. Denied? It could not have been more obvious that those charges were fraud. I called Gemini and was told that they would submit a rebuttal but that I would now have to go to the police and file a criminal report and submit it to Gemini. In the mean time, the charge is posted on my account. What kind of nonsense is that? I used that card for every single thing that I purchased and paid it in full every month and now they’re calling me a liar? Unacceptable. As soon as this issue is resolved I am canceling the card and transferring my crypto to Coinbase. I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau and taking my business elsewhere

Decline decline decline! I am feeling extremely frustrated

I am feeling extremely frustrated. I have reached out to customer service multiple times, because my card keeps getting declined over the past three months for purchases that I make and one as a reoccurring chiropractic appointment that I can no longer use my card for. There is no way to say it is me using the card. No approval. It just is declined. What’s the point of having a card if it is now declining more and more l? Not happy they need to make a way so you can approve a declined purchase.

Gemini.com Crypto Account Frozen For no Valid Reason No Response And Losing Money ON My Crypto At Gemini Trust Company, LLC

Rating: 4 Star (Negative)
Gemini.com Crypto Account Frozen, Assets Inaccessible, and I am losing Money on My Crypto at GEMINI – Avoid at All Costs

Rating: 4 Star (Negative)
I am writing this review to warn others about my current experience with Gemini Trust Company, LLC.

Like many others on this platform, my account was suddenly frozen since Friday September 18th 2026 without warning or a legitimate explanation. I attempted to transfer a small amount of XRP from my Gemini account to my personal institutional cold wallet—a standard security practice for any responsible crypto holder. Instead of processing the transfer, Gemini placed a hold on my entire account and demanded I submit to a video verification through their app.

I complied fully. I provided the video. They acknowledged receiving it. Then they demanded more: A) The destination wallet addresses,
B) The reason for my transfer, C) The type of account.

I provided all of this information promptly and honestly. I explained I was moving my own assets to my personal secured financial institution custody.
Despite my complete cooperation, my account remains locked. My assets are inaccessible. Gemini has provided no specific reason for the continued hold, no timeline for resolution, and no meaningful response to my repeated requests for help. This is not customer service. This is hostage-taking.

“THIS IS LIKE A BUYING THE TIME POLICY TO KEEP THEM GOING.”

The Bigger Picture: Gemini Trust Company, LLC Is Surely Collapsing
My experience is not an isolated incident. It is a symptom of a company in severe distress. Be aware that their public record is damning:
• Massive Financial Losses: Gemini reported a net loss of $109 million in Q1 2026 alone, following a staggering $585 million loss for all of 2025 . The company is hemorrhaging money.
• Stock Price in Freefall: Since its IPO, Gemini's stock (GEMI) has plummeted approximately 80–90%, wiping out billions in market value . Investors are fleeing.
• Mass Layoffs and Leadership Exodus: Gemini Trust Company, LLC has cut 30% of its staff and lost its Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Legal Officer . This is not a stable company.
• Abandoning Markets: Gemini Trust Company, LLC has exited the UK, EU, and Australian markets entirely, retreating to a shrinking US business .
• Pattern of Customer Complaints: The complaints on Trustpilot and elsewhere are consistent: frozen accounts, withdrawal difficulties, poor customer service . This is systemic. Very poor people suffering fro, those Oligarch without a heart.

When Gemini Trust Company, LLC said that they "the most compliant" and "safest" exchange. The reality is the opposite. They are in the process of trying to rob me right now.

Their compliance apparatus appears to be used as a weapon to arbitrarily freeze customer funds while the company burns through capital and downsizes its operations. When a company is losing this much money and shedding staff, how can it possibly provide adequate support or maintain the systems necessary to process legitimate customer transactions?

My Warning to You

Do not trust Gemini Trust Company, LLC with your assets. If you are a current customer, leave them now, I strongly advise you to withdraw everything you can immediately. If your account is already frozen, file complaints with Your State DFS (Department of Financial Services and CFPB in Washington . Do not let their "compliance" marketing fool you.
A company that cannot process a simple self-custody transfer, that ignores its customers for days or weeks, and that is losing hundreds of millions of dollars while its stock collapses is not a very safe place for your money. It is a sinking ship.

Gemini Trust Company, LLC also hold Money transmitter Licenses in almost or all 50 states that they must comply with the laws and regulations. File your complaints in all of them

I would give zero if I could

I would give zero if I could! Worst customer service! I bought bitcoin and tried to transfer it to my personal wallet and they denied it! In addition, they froze my account! I then sold the bitcoin and tried to withdraw it into my verified linked bank account and it’s been held up! I can’t talk to anyone about this. Instead, I have to keep emailing Support and I have not heard back from them and it has been over two weeks! It’s extremely frustrating! Even worse, I transferred bitcoin to my personal wallet through Coinbase at the exact same time! They have no experience and their customer service is horrible! Don’t use them!

They go radio silent on active email threads

They go radio silent on active email threads regarding account lockouts / not letting me withdraw. I had to re-email them and open an entirely new ticket for the same problem; this exact scenario happened twice. The 2nd time I was locked out, it lasted over a MONTH, and they closed my credit card without explanation despite being in good standing and having a zero card balance. The app also bugs out and displays inaccurate information (my account never exceeded $3000 in value, but the YTD showed a balance of over $5000). This problem persists to this day, albeit with smaller amounts as I moved everything off the platform. I liked and was loyal to Gemini for many years; even back in 2022 during the TAC crisis, I kept my assets on Gemini after being credited back. It is the lack of care for customers that drove me away. Save yourself the headache and don't open an account, and if you do have one, CLOSE IT. Force them to make changes; otherwise, this is a subpar exchange with terrible customer service and excessive fees meant to make up for everyone else leaving.

Don’t use Gemini Exchange!! Customer service is crap!! I referred my daughter to them using my referral link. She 100% qualified. Open account day 1..funded account..bought bitcoin all same day. They screwed both of us out of the reward bonus’s. No phone number to call, went back and forth 20+ emails. They are a terrible exchange. Much easier to go with Coinbase and Kraken. I am with both of them, great customer service!

Scam

Can't even pay your balance. Because the app is so glitchy. And then they tack on late fees, and it goes on your credit. And their support team takes forever to respond. If I could give this less than one star, I would.
