False Promises
I have been using the service since the very start and have to say its extremley disappointing. The use of rewards is so limiting. Yep I have had the odd gift card here and there, but they are so difficult to get hold of. While I do understand there is a supply and demand and I could live with that if some of the "Real world" offers are so empty now. I have a ton of points and really nothing to use them on. Shame as it had some much potential.

Not quite what it seems!
I've been a member since the beginning, had a few quid in Amazon gift cards etc but these have become almost impossible to obtain.
I've just had a stab at a gift card and the countdown didn't get to zero before the screen changed telling me they'll be 150 available next week.
The rewards are full of rubbish offers that you get with Vodafone etc and numerous gambling sites... Not sure how one defines online slots as a reward. They've been promising that proper gift card rewards would be available for years but you still have to compete with bots and folk in cities with superfast fibre, not very fair!
I'm about done now with this rubbish, much better rewards for similar data permissions with yougov.

Having read the Gener8 response I wish I could remove the 1 star down to zero. You miss the point. Something like gambling adds should be an opt-in, not opt-out. Their are vulnerable people in society who use systems like yours because they think they will be 'safer' clearly not. Just after the ad bucks like everyone else. Shocking

A really great app!
A really great app that runs completely in the background but gives the opportunity to convert points for real prizes. This is not a site that will earn you millions but for a low level of effort, it’s brilliant to earn a bit extra in vouchers. It’s also still a small company so I can’t wait to see where things go in the future!

Promises a lot , delivers very little.
I have been with Gener8 from the start and with some perseverance have earned a couple of £5 Amazon vouchers. The idea is great but in reality delivers very little. I have now decided to delete my account and try and use up my points by entering the auctions. I won a just eat voucher but now I can't enter another one for a week. If I give my points to charity I can only give 50 at a time! They have been promising to improve the numbers of rewards for years but it never happens. Hopefully I can use all my remaining points in the near future and leave forever.

Was very skeptical at first; since was building up the points easily enough but every time I tried for a gift card - I was unsuccessful and started to think it was not genuine, however just tried again and managed to get a £5 Sainsburys one so I was wrong and happy to be proven!

I don't think you can really earn anything. Points are slow to earn and it's impossible to cash it. For the amount of information they gain I don't think it's worth it.

It is a very good app I got my first discount card for Starbucks yesterday and used it was very impressed it worked as was sceptical it was going to work but it did. I also have had the Mother’s Day box of wine which was lovely treat to have and just pay postage. I do feel it working for me just wish I could earn more points by doing more surveys and having other incentives to earn more points but will slowly gain these

Scam artists at their finest. It's near impossible to get anything that's worth something from this dodgy company. They promise you the world when you sign up so they can get your data. It's virtually impossible to win any gift cards. To win any auctions you need years worth of your stolen data to stand a chance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
