Everything went very smooth

Often, terrible hostels were rated as good, if not better, than amazing hostels. I'm currently in New Zealand and despite choosing hostels with a rating of 7.5 and higher, I've had a 50/50 chance of ending up in a terrible one that didn't fulfil the high praises of reviewers

The place to book hostels all around the world!!

The hostel is more like a guesthouse, that would be fine but it was dirty, nearly everything was broken in the hostel (shower, toilett seat, waterline ect.). But the worst thing was the bad thick air & the mold on the walls, furniture and the mattress. The air was so bad of the mold that we had to cough all night long & even our clothes were wet.
But the staff is super friendly! Nice, open-minded & helpful young people.

Ideal Location to See the whole City

Good: see different hostels, feedback of other users;
Bad: too expensive, it isn't obvious that the 15% isn't deposit for the hostel but goes directly to the homepage of hostelworld. And you can't get it back even though you stay not as long in the hostel as you booked before.

I did book a couple of hostels with hostelworld and I never got disappointed - the hostels were all great as well, so the reviews are very trusting.
Hostels were in Singapore and all over Malaysia!

My friends and I had a great stay:) we really enjoyed the vibes of the hostel:) the breakfast was really good, the rooms were clean and stylish. The deck is awesome and you can just hang around there. Just the showers need be more clean, there were some spiders and ants! But all in all we reeeeeaaaaallly enjoys out stay:)

I would strongly recommend hostelworld to everyone, who is looking for fair prices and good service.

It was so clean and well organised, staff were amazing and so friendly. smal kitchen , good wifi , no complaints at all! Would 100% stay there again.

We were supposed to stay there for two nights but we left after the first night because the room and especially the bathroom were so dirty. It looks nice on the pictures and from outside but this wa sthe worst hostel we've ever been to.
