We had to move under extremely short notice due to an emergency, and Bellhop was able to meet our needs under these major time constraints. However, our experience with this company’s customer service ever since the move, has been extremely poor.

Firstly, their team, although very kind and helpful, ended up being negligent while moving our new furniture and leaving major, deep scratches in it. After going through their claims process, they were not able to provide an adequate refund to cover the cost of repair. They stated this was due to the choice of insurance coverage, but the problem is, I booked over the phone and never received an option for insurance coverage. It was never even mentioned during the scheduling calls. So please keep that in mind during the booking process.

Secondly, after accepting their offered settlement for the damages, they over-refunded us $19 and are now repetitively asking us to make a payment for our “outstanding balance”. We already paid in full, agreed to a settlement, and they sent us $19 over what was agreed upon and now have the audacity to request us to make this payment and then threaten to send us to “collections” if we don’t.

Unfortunately, we feel very taken advantage of. We were desperate for help in a time of need and they were able to help us, but are now deeply regretful of choosing to work with this company as they continue to show us their incompetence, particularly in customer service.

Bottom line: DONT USE THIS COMPANY. It’s not worth it.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
I was quoted and contracted for over a week in advance, I paid for a full service with packing labor, got the quote, made payment and after a week I got an email saying they would not be able to provide packing labor literally 30 minutes before they showed up do to some error. I called Bellhop and I tried to explain what’s going on and that we need packers and that I paid for that. I even checked over the phone and got the same price online for the full service. I told them that this is nonsense that you need to take care of this and that it feels like a scam, they disconnected me then canceled my contract, the driver showed me it was chanced and the driver and 2 laborers all drove off and left us stranded with this move. We took a lot of care to schedule this. THEN after all this mess someone messaged me telling me it would be DOUBLE the cost to pack our stuff up. it’s just a 2 bed 1 bath apartment. I got move for less to take care of us for $990 vs the $1,600 Bell hop was trying to scam me. They refused to pay back the deposit. I have disputed this on my credit card. AVOID THEM 100%

Update 2 weeks later.
Move4less really did a perfect job taking care of us last minute. I got my $ back from bellhop after disputing it on my credit card and bellhop refunded me in full. They did call me back to apologize but that was it. In the end their screw up cost me an additional grand and I also lost 2 days of work so in the end bellhop owes me at least the 2 days of work I missed to to this screw up. The people who called me to apologize was not actually bellhop. It was some overseas call center that makes calls for them.
Do not hire this company. You will regret it and it may cost you a few grand like it did me!

The Bellhop Movers were friendly, had good communication about their arrival, and took great care of our things. They finished our whole move very quickly. Would 100% use them again.

Another great move with Bellhops! Miguel and Bard were amazing - so helpful and kind with moving all of my furniture and getting it placed exactly where it belonged. They also helped me with loading some items from my patio that needed to go elsewhere. Always have had a great move with Bellhops.

Everyone on the entire crew was amazing- the driver and both the loading and unloading crews were efficient, professional, and friendly. I moved 14(+) hrs and not a single item was broken during the move. Bellhop customer support was always readily available and helpful when needed. I will definitely be using bellhop in the future!

Great service! They are very constructive and responsive. They showed up on time and did a great job to help assemble our big equipment!

Went by without a hitch

Moving was a disaster. I had a team scheduled for Saturday morning and only 1 person out of 5 showed up. They had to cancel due to lack of people and it ruined my weekend. I had to be out of my house by Monday so we scrambled to find another company. I unfortunately had to go with bellhop again cause they were the only company available. The new moving team did show up on Sunday however they were only scheduled for 4 hours and they took 8. I spoke to customer service and they are unhelpful. They say they will call back and don't. They were only willing to give me 10% off which is unacceptable. I am still talking to them about getting more of a discount but I have to hound them to get a response. The movers team was ok but the team lead was obviously high and took multiple long breaks through out the day and didn't really help the team. The rest of the movers were ok. Don't use bellhop for moving. Use a more reliable company that actually cares about its customers and doing the right thing.

Great communication leading up to my move and everything went smooth on the day of.

This is my second time using Bellhop and have had wonderful experiences both times. This go-round was a 70 mile move! As last time, the movers were courteous, capable, and fast! Between my positive experiences and Bellhop's competitive rates, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Worst move I have ever experienced. Can not get a management call back.
