I am not sure about this site, a contacted them on numerous times, to ask what would happen to my date of birth, as this could be passed on to, to be used fraudulently, no response, so don't have much faith in them, to me a site, that cannot respond to their members, is not worth it, and is a scam site. My offers, is a much better one to use by far, use them.

Defiantly not a scam as the other reviews say I have won twice in 18 months a £10 Boots voucher and a £50 Amazon voucher! especially for simply entering a few simple surveys...

I used to be a fan of GetMeATicket but recently two competitions for major prizes closed and it was the same winner who won both. The odds against this happening must be huge, and I was left in no doubt that this site is a total scam.

I signed up with Getmeaticket a few months ago, and I was careful to tick the right boxes when entering their "competitions" but still somehow ended up with unexplained and never-ending stream of spam, anything from health insurance to double glazing. Coincidence?
Also I've just received 3 emails from them about the finished competitions, 3 different unrelated competitions(morrisons vouchers, cinema vouchers and wii console) but guess what- the SAME WINNER FOR ALL 3, if that's not shady I don't know what is.

I have used many competition websites in the past and seen GetMeATicket advertised in many places. The website is actually a complete scam. I signed up and had reminder emails to enter their daily £10 draws. I entered a few and on the 9th of July I received an email from them informing me that I had won £10 and that I should give them my details and a quote to go onto the winners page.

I gave them the information they wanted (3 hours after they requested it, the emails are still in my outbox). From then onwards, I received subsequent emails (presumably sent to everybody on their newsletter) stating I was the lucky winner of the £10 daily prize.

Months later, I never received anything from them. I contacted them via email asking why I never received my prize. They said I took too long to sent them my information. I replied saying I gave them all pertinent information without 3 hours (with proof), they never replied.

It's a shame, they are raking in hundreds/thousands/millions on their sponsors which bombard you when trying to enter their competitions and they can't even pay out £10. They then sprawl my name over their newsletter and have the audacity to ask me for a winners quote yet never pay me the prize!

Steer clear from this company at ALL costs. Use alternatives.

EDIT: In regards to the response. I actually feel slightly offended that each time GetMeATicket reply to me it states the same thing "we never received your email, bla bla bla". I have sent them proof from my Outlook.com sent inbox to show them that I did reply, well within 14 days. Within 1 day, actually. I have sent thousands of emails in my lifetime and have never actually had somebody tell me they never received the email I sent.

EDIT: Apparently this company has now shut down. Good riddance!
