Please do not use this garage . As a woman coming through horrendous domestic abuse , I used this garage , without looking at previous reviews as I had just came through a high court case & was completing documentary on dv & was charged £2500 ponds to get car repaired as my own car had broken down . I got car back off them to drive back to Paisley , I asked if the repair was completed they gave me back car , I was in with my friend who witnessed when I advised I was driving from Kelso home to Paisley , they said drive slowly , when I got to Paisley and gave car back to friend the car lost power . I spent £2500 for nothing .

Please do ur research before using garages have bought a new car now& have put this nightmare behind me. From a positive point the vast majority of garages wouldn’t do this!

Please consider doing research & dont be dismayed the vast majority of hate garages are good , I used the same garage at home in Paisley & they are always brill !

I purchased a 2016 ford st180 had a few issues that i am willing to sort out they are now done , but while i was doing a oil change i noticed damage to the front panel and i removed the front bumber only to find the intercooler bowed and crushed along with some breakage on the front slam panel that you couldnt see while bumper was on as you can imagine on seeing this im not a happy buyer . Then i take off reg plates and clearly its been resprayed but they masked off the rear plate on tailgate and painted around it like W t f HAVE I JUST BOUGHT FOR £7695.00

I have three cars that I use to cover a very high annual mileage. I have used Gibbs Automotive for the last five years for MOTs and maintenance and have always found them to be experienced, honest and competent.

I've been going to Gibbs for 2 years now. Always reliable and truthful service, with great prices and quality parts, without fail (genuinely none of it has stopped working).

I recently picked up a failed MOT from a cheap alternative, but I was given a clean pass by Gibbs with data to back it up.

Mike genuinely takes pride in his service and business, and that's the kind of enterprise I want to support.

There are a number of things wrong with place- the blokes that run it are simple sort of folk who you have to have a lot of patience to deal with. The garage itself is a scruffy affair, complete with a scruffy burger van, run by a horrible scruffy chav. It was hard work checking the car in and out and getting a reciept was like blood out of a stone. My car came out in a worst stae than when it went in. Horrible, dodgy back yard place that is always offering cut price offers as presumably that's all the work they can get. Avoid if you value your car or your time.
