So impressed with this polishing kit, everything was so easy to use and the results are beautiful. I have an old teak sideboard that needed some tlc, it was extremely dull and flat before. It now has the most stunning shine, the surface is reflective like glass, I can't stop looking at it. The polish has brought life back to the teak and it smells divine. Cant recommend enough, thank you!!

Absolutely amazing products, best I have ever used.
For literally decades I have been trying different waxes for my hand carved table. I have bought many different waxes, claiming to be "the best for antiques". Sadly none have lived up to their promise. Until I found Gilboys. I got the set of 3 different waxes for myself, as I have a lot of antique and other wooden furniture. I found the instruction videos by Gilboys really helpful. the kit came with steel wool, polishing cloth, waxes and cubes for repair of scratches. One challenge for me is the deep carving in the wood of this table, and finding the information to cut off a paintbrush was ideal for getting the wax properly distributed. I did a small area at a time, and the results were so fantastic I was raving to my family about what an amazing wax this is. I got a kit for my sister for her tables too after seeing the results. The table has not looked this good since it was first carved by a family friend in the 1960's. I have recommended these waxes to my family and friends.

Transformative product/ great kit
I’d bought and used this polish before and it was good - but using it with 0000 steel wool makes a HUGE difference and having that included in the kit was good confirmation that this is the way to go, The product is transformative in combination with the wire wool. Brilliant depth of shine/colour. Previously very average Georgian pieces now look great. Thank you

Wonderful from from start to finish
From start to finish... discovering 'how to' on YouTube, having the products delivered with little personalised and encouraging notes and finally using the oil and wax to transform my grandma's rosewood bed. A joy!

I like the fact that the polish stays on the wood, protecting it, and you leave it to sink in for a little while then buff it up to the level of sheen you want. My piece had not been polished in a long while and was also a bit grubby in places, so I used quite a lot. My advice is that if you have a lot to polish and it's in need of serious restoring, take advantage of the the discounted refill offer.

Excellent results achieved on leather seat pad of a vintage desk chair, next job aniline leather gentleman’s chair. Delivery excellent as usual from Gilboy’s with great packaging.

I treated my Oak strip wooden floor
I treated my Oak strip wooden Hall floor approximately 1 year ago and the results were fantastic. There’s a couple of hard wear area’s that could do with a light re coating so I’ve bought another tin of it. I do have to say it’s a super product, it smells good, it’s hard waring and the results are exceptional . Thank you Simon for your advice when I asked about giving my floor another coat and thank you for such a great product.

Astonishingly removed the black mark on my kitchen worktop. This product should carry a warning “contains witchcraft”!

Quality products beautifully presented and back ed up by people who really know their stuff. It’s a pleasure to deal with these people and their products are amazing. I have purchased quite a few different items from them over the last few years and every time I open the boxes I smile seeing the care and attention to detail that has gone into both products and presentation. I can’t imagine a better product being available. Well worth every penny. The results speak volumes.

I think Gilboys is a lovely company with excellent products, fast service and very friendly! They also seem very knowledgeable, and considerate about nature, people and furniture.
This was my second experience, and my first was equally good. I am happy that I found it.

The polish arrived promptly. I have a trapezoidal hurdy gurdy which is a Paul Baker reproduction of an early 17th century instrument in the Royal College of music. It has been finished with Danish oil and it was looking quite tired but one coat of the Gilboys pure gold applied with 0000 wire wool and buffed with a soft cloth has left it looking like new. My playing of it still sounds dreadful but at least it looks good!

We’ve used this on our striped oak floor, and on restaurant tables. Easy to use dried within the stated timeframe and was easy to de-nib and recoat to a lovely smooth finish. We would highly recommend this hard wax.
