I have just this very minute used your hard wax oil for the very first time on a GPlan side table. I have been restoring pieces of furniture for many years now and have a shed full of various types of finishes that I have experimented with and wasted money on! IF ONLY..I had known about Gilboys then! I now look at my past attempts and feel the need to redo them! The hard wax oil is amazing it just glides across the wood... it truly is as smooth as satin. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic!
First and foremost, the wood polish is fantastic, vastly easier to apply and finish than anything I’ve used before. More than that though is the care and attention in the packaging and shipping. It’s not often you open a package to find handwritten thank you notes and thoughtful little gifts, which I really appreciated. Made me realise that this is a family business that really cares about its relationship with its customers. Thanks a lot, I’ll be back!

I bought the Pure Gold Furniture Polishing kit and found it to contain all the elements necessary to achieve a pleasing finish on my light oak arts and crafts table. The wax was easy to apply and the finish was silky smooth to the touch and lustrous to the eye.

I have really only just started sanding down the table and chairs so I haven’t really used your product yet, although I did a little tester on the table top to see what it looked like, and I must say I am very impressed, and can’t wait to use it properly. Sublime effects!
We had out 50-year old walnut cabinets sanded and then simply oiled with Gilboys and the result is stupendous! The oil brought out the darker natural grain that had faded over the years. It far exceeded our expectations!
I also LOVE that Gilboys is all-natural!

Great wax polish
I was unsure about the dark colour of the antique gold wax…..but I had the perfect item to try it on recently. It brought up my recent purchase of an art deco burr walnut desk box, which needed a little tlc, beautifully. I’m starting on the cocktail cabinet now 😉

Great Product
It’s a great product , which comes with a lovely hand written note and some sunflower seeds. Goes on well and smells nice too. I’m using this as part of a project to restore my wooden staircase, which is still a work in progress, so no photos yet, but Simon has been really helpful with tips and advice along the way…Thank you Simon!

What a shine.
What a shine.
The starter kit is ideal for someone who only has a small job or who wants to test before committing. A little goes a long way. I used them on a table after using the hard wax oil and it was easy to apply, easy to buff to a lovely sheen, even for amateur like myself. I am now looking around for any wooden object to wax.

Looking good
Still preparing the furniture for finishing but small test areas are looking promising. The hard wax oil and polish smell great and go on with little effort. Hopefully the final results will be as good as the tests.

Best on the Market. The hard wax oil has turned my dull, worn pine table into a new looking table. Simons YouTube film is so informative. I can not recommend the product highly enough. No nasty chemicals, so easy to apply, and the finish is fantastic. The product was so nicely packaged and we are looking forward to growing our sun flowers
