When my best friend died giving birth, I started a GiveForward fundraiser to help her husband and two surviving sons. Her husband and I were overwhelmed at the outpouring of support that followed. Posting the fundraiser on Facebook and mentioning it in her obituary helped us to far, far exceed our expectations. I am so grateful to GiveForward for this way to help.

I was able to help raise money for my brother as he went through a tough time dealing with cancer. It was fast, easy and very helpful for me to do this using GiveForward! AWESOME!!!

I checked out many sites before deciding to go with GiveForward. My experience with them was very positive. Lots of support. Easy to set up payments into my bank account. Very nice looking, easy to post to Facebook and/or email directly. Sent me reminders to thank supporters. The one thing I wish had been better was uploading photos. It was time consuming and had limited ability to size the photos so many I wanted to use just wouldn't work. This made posting updates more difficult than I would have liked. But overall the experience was very positive. Would recommend to others.

I have never done a fundraiser before, but needed to set one up to help support a friend going through cancer treatments. I had a calendar going (Lotsa Helping Hands) and the calendar linked me to GiveForward. I did not look into other fundraising vehicles so I had nothing to compare to. I had a couple of issues with the set-up of the page itself, but always received clear answers from the support staff. Once it was set up and the website was shared, it really took off and was very easy to manage.

This site is very easy to use. So many of my friends and family were able to make donations at ease. The money was deposited in my bank account which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this site to others.

I set up a short fundraiser for a family member. The fundraiser exceeded expectations so from that perspective, it was great. Where I had difficulty was in website technical stuff and cust service technology.
1) For posting updates and also photo uploading, the software was a pain and very restrictive and even confusing. Have you tried it???
2) When I needed help setting up a different person to release the funds to, I had myriad responses from customer service, sometimes with conflicting advice. The people I communicated with were always kind and tried to be helpful, but some things just got lost in translation. Made it very confusing.
3) As an administrator of the fundraiser, I wished for more flexibility in sending invitations, and then follow-ups, and in keeping up with both contributors and potential contributors. Emails I had sent weren't easily accessible for reference or to use as templates.

This was easy to use and worked well. The only thing I didn't like was the memory book only included people who wrote comments and I wanted a list of everyone's names who contributed.

When my husband died from cancer we were broke. The treatments had cost us everything. My son set this up for me and we were able to raise enough money to bury him. It was an awful time in our lives and this was so simple and so fast to send us the funds and with no problems or hang ups. It meant the world to us. You will never know how much it meant.

My family was struck with a sudden tragedy. Wanting to act fast to address the need, I turned to GiveForward. In only 15 minutes or so I had a fundraiser set up accepting donations. In just 3 days we reached our goal. GiveForward is an advanced giving platform made simple. We are so grateful to their support and product that helped us get through a difficult time.

I would recommend GiveForward to anyone going through a troubling time. A friend established a GiveForward page for me after suffering from a spinal cord injury. GiveForward made it easy for friends and family members to contribute to my recovery. I would not be where I am today without GiveForward.

This website helped me raise money for my friend and her family who ended up losing their 2 month baby girl. I liked how the website worked and opperated! I would definetly recommend and use again in the future if I had to!

I created my account to help out one of my daughters friend who caught on fire the day of her birthday party. I tried every way possible to help find founds for hospital bills, house bills, and for the parents. I'm blessed to have found GiveFoward to help me in this process. I have recommend this page to friends and family members. If I were ever to need it in the future this will definitely be my go to page.

My experience with GiveForward was excellent. It was automated enough not to require too much self monitoring, yet customizable enough to manage in a way that fit my values. My "Thank You!" responses were traced automatically! My messages to friends were completely customizable, and I could control who saw the page, and who got the information. I did not want to blanket every friend I had. I wanted to target people I knew had jobs and could afford to give a gift. That preference was compatible with my values. The transfer of funds from the donations to the medical patient was seamless. It was also seamless for interested friends to become sponsors and invite their friends personally. That feature is a great bonus. Some folks warned me about the fees, but it must not have been a huge issue b/c people donated in spite of the fees. I could never have managed a fund raiser like this without Give Forward. THANK YOU! My mother who has Lung Cancer (non smoking) thanks you too!

When one is dealing with the stress and trauma which has prompted looking for such a site as GiveForward, it was a great relief to discover how easy it was to set up an account with them. What was equally impressive was how responsive the GiveForward team was in answering the couple of questions I had about the process.

Thanks to GiveForward, my dear friend Bruce was able to pay all, or very nearly so, of his medical bills. It was just amazing!

An excellent fundraising site!

By having giveforward helped me raise money to get my truck fixed. I lost my husband July 2014, so needed the help. They were there to give encouraging words and to help me a long the way.

I have a very positive experience using GiveForward. It was user friendly, easy to add and invite people to view your campaign. Positive feed back and tips. Also plenty of time to circulate our story and learn about others in need. Overall great!

I would like to personally thank everyone at GiveForward. I set up a donation fund for my father's burial services. Without it, my family and I wouldn't have been able to appease his last wishes of a proper burial. Truly amazing company.
