Mirror arrived chipped and we are blamed for it!

We ordered a mirror that arrived chipped. Instead of taking responsibility, both the driver and the customer service representative, whom we called while the driver was still at our place, blamed us, claiming the damage was due to our ordering it “with rough edges.” This is simply not true; the mirror was already damaged before delivery.

We refused to accept it and immediately asked for a refund or replacement while the driver was still there. The person on the phone said that wouldn’t be possible and told us to send an email instead. After a week, the company is now refusing both a refund and a replacement.

They are essentially denying responsibility and trying to make us accept a damaged product. We feel gaslighted. A company should stand behind its products, not blame customers and leave them stuck with faulty goods. Now we’re left without a mirror, and they still have our money.

BROKEN MIRROR - DO NOT TRUST!

DO NOT TRUST!

I ordered a large custom mirror on August 15, 2025. It was delivered on September 5th with a very visible chip missing on the edge — I refused delivery. Glaskoning argued that the damage was “normal” and they refused replacement or refund on the spot and blamed ME for ordering a "fragile" mirror. They said I should just take it anyway because they're "just going to throw it out" and said I should "hide" the chip with silicone or a frame. But this mirror was meant to be mounted flush with the wall. Nowhere on the website does it say that a chip is "normal" for a mirror!!!

I sent multiple emails, including photos, and called multiple times to insist on a refund or replacement. 10 days with no response. Finally today I got an email today from Jeremy that said:

"De fabriek heeft de claim afgewezen, de spiegel heeft een beschadiging van 3mm. Voor een ongeslepen spiegel valt dit binnen de productie marge omdat en ongeslepen spiegel altijd achter de latten moet wegvallen wegens de scherpe en oneven randen. Helaas is er niks wat we kunnen doen."

Totally unacceptable behavior. Is this "normal" to anyone else?!

Do not order with them

Worst service. It took 5 months for my order to be planned, spoke to the customer service 3 times. Every time they say they will plan and I still haven't got my order.

Definitely do not recommend.

The best of the best

The best of the best , they delivered a little bit too late but when I asked them to deliver before my vacation ,they arranged and I really appreciate that . The glass been delivered exactly as I expected. Perfect 👍
