Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 118 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People frequently encountered annoying pop-ups and mandatory login loops that made accessing basic company information extremely difficult. Reviewers expressed deep frustration because the website constantly demands personal information and forces users to write their own reviews before reading. Many consumers also complained that critical feedback disappears and accounts face sudden restrictions without proper notification. Though some customers noted that the platform can be useful as a starting point for getting a general idea about company culture. Some people were satisfied with discovering open positions and successfully securing interviews through the site.

Glassdoor is a joke. Only people who are angry or had a bad experience will bother to write reviews, so of course everything skews negative. That’s just human nature. It doesn’t reflect the real p... See more

Trash company and concept

Trash company and concept. Those who live in "Glass" houses shouldnt throw stones. Allowing disgruntled employees to leave shitty comments but deletes any employee leaving nice comments. I've personally had all the reviews I've ever tried to post deleted for no reason.. when its all valid through community rules.

Not 100% reliable anymore

Glassdoor is not what it used to be. A few years ago, they wouldn't delete a negative review and would side with the employees. Nowadays, they delete negative reviews constantly, they don't let you claim as fake reviews that are clearly coming from the same person, and they are constantly trying to protect the employer's reputation. It has become an unreliable source for job seekers to know if a company is really good with their employees or not. I recently joined a company that has a high rating on Glassdoor, and as soon as I started working there, I realized the rating was inflated by fake reviews. Many colleagues told me that they've written negative reviews on Glassdoor, but they got deleted. Only the positive ones stayed, which were coming from a particular team in HR. Three guys that keep posting positive reviews to keep the rating high.

Data mining site

Data mining site. Don’t bother. They throw out click bait saying you can access with just one piece of personal info, it gives you a page, but faster than you can read it, you get another pop up demanding another piece of personal info to proceed, then another and another. It’s just getting your info and never actually functions as advertised. That was my experience anyway. Constant demand for info in order to proceed. I gave up.

COMMON F***ING SENSE!

Just so everyone is aware, this will be inaccurate! You will NEVER know exactly what your coworker, or boss or friend makes. Those ads are complete horse s**t. Which is what drew me here. It annoyed me seeing that ad by glass door. The reason being. We are all in different cities, countries, states, provinces, etc! People have worked in positions for months, years, even decades! Those hourly or salaried wages will NOT be accurate!!!!! Ive been at my position for 10+ years now. However, someone coming in to a similar position may only have been there for 2. They will not be making close to what I am! Common sense people!

Glassdoor has lost all credibility

Glassdoor has lost all credibility over the last few years. As a HR practitioner I used to trust that the reporting they provided comparing companies was authentic, but I’m seeing genuine negative reviews about competitor companies vanish in real time. As an individual who may want to leave a constructive but truthful review, they won’t let me use the site anymore without first providing a heap of personal info and then verifying my employment via my WORK EMAIL address. I think they’ve lost their marbles if they think I’m doing that. No more glassdoor for me or my organisation.

The worst website ever designed to mankind

Looks like the company just wants to lose users. I wanted to see details about a specific job, and glasdoor pops up on google as the first result. I'm like cool, this is exactly what I'm looking for. But then a pop up comes on and tells me to signup to access the website for free*. So, I get a little annoyed, but still interested to spend time on the website. After creating an account and logging in however, I get another popup telling me to write a review because I haven't done any for 12 months. Like no s**t, I just signed up. The worst thing is that I literally can't access ANYTHING in their stupid website. Horrendous and downright disrespectful to new users. Deserves 0 stars.

They remove negative reviews for…

They remove negative reviews for companies. It’s not just theoretical. I’ve tried to leave two reviews for my previous company and both were removed. At first I thought that maybe I had accidentally violated one of their terms of service, but that wasn’t the case. I can confirm that my colleagues have had the same experience. They are doing a great injustice to workers who are considering working for a company, and had they not censored the criticism of this company, I may not have wasted my time by joining. Glassdoor is a dishonest company that should be sued by workers.
