Wrong measurement Horrible install

Wrong measurement, very bad install. I had to get another contractor for countertop and install, something promised in my contract with Glide-Lock. I asked for a reimbursement of money paid for countertop, they say that’s their company policy (not to reimburse). This has been going on since June 2025. I urge everybody stay away from this company and do not use them. When new contractor installed countertop, I had the added expense to correct the Glide-Lock sink install. Stay away.!!!!!

Glide-Lock is a manufacturer and is not a contractor. Sales orders were signed and approved by the homeowner. Glide-Lock delivered as promised on all materials order and approved by the signer. Please go to the website and read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

I wrote a very long google review

I wrote a very long google review, so let me just say that my experience has been very negative. They do reel you in, have you pay a huge deposit and before they install require the full amount. I've never heard of this from a company. Parts were missing, they ordered the wrong quartz, tried to talk me into keeping it, and even after 2 months still missing handles and have drawers that don't close properly. I reached out to the owner, who needs a lesson in customer
service. He was very condescending.
I wish I'd done better homework before hiring them. I did NOT change my Google review due to false claims. I was hounded by the company. I only took my words off, not the star rating. And their reply is completely false.

The customer is well aware that Glide-Lock is a manufacturer / distributor of the cabinets. Kimberly acknowledged this when she signed her sales order for new cabinets. Kimberly complained about the delivery time when in fact she is the one who held up production and delivery. After signing her initial sales order on May 1, 2025 the next day she requested to hold the order as she wanted to change the color. We held her sales order from going into production as per her request. Kimberly did not make a final color decision until May 27, 2025 when she signed a revised sales order noting the color change. Kimberly's cabinets were delivered on June 25, 2025 which is in the time frame as promised. Kimberly signed the delivery receipt, nothing noted regarding any damages. The 3rd party installer was approved by Kimberly who installed her cabinets as per the design/ plans. The countertops template was performed as scheduled. At this time Kimberly asked the template person about the countertop color. Kimberly requested a different color other than what she signed for on her sales order. We had already had the slabs for her countertops. We accommodated Kimberly's request once again to change this color. Several weeks after her cabinet installation and signing off once again that there are no deficiencies or damages, and after the countertop installation was completed. She posted a negative review online without contacting us that her cabinets are "damaged". The cabinet installers provide pictures to us of every installation after completing and receiving the signed by the homeowner a certificate of completion. Again signed by Kimberly, nothing noted about damages or a complaint.

We have asked her to contact us about the chips to her cabinet & how to adjust the drawer that is not damaged. To date she has not contacted our company. If this platform allowed for us to post our photos and sales order information we would be happy to.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Stay away from this company! They seemed fine at first, but once we paid, everything went downhill — missing items, extra charges, bad measurements, long delays, rude messages, and no real help.

This is a pattern you can find in other reviews. They also have multiple Google pages to hide bad reviews. Just search "Glide Lock MFG Florida location" and look — same company, same fake 5-star reviews from “Patriotic American.”

We hired them in November 2024 after they came to measure and showed us a 3D design. We paid everything up front. They delivered cabinets without handles, no faucet, and no hood cabinet — all things that were in the design we approved. One cabinet in the laundry room was so badly measured, we had to take it out because the washer door wouldn’t open.

Months later, they came back asking for $6,000 more to finish the countertops — even though the contract clearly said 2 slabs, based on their own measurements. When we said no, they ignored us and started making up new charges like a $400 install fee and other crazy delivery rules.

It’s June 2025 now and the project is still not after 8 months! We can’t even list our house because of this. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else.

UPDATE: In their public reply to my review, Glidelock published MY ADDRESS AND MY PHONE NUMBER WITHOUT MY CONSENT. This is a clear invasion of privacy and an act of intimidation. I’ve taken screenshots and will pursue legal remedies and report this violation to the appropriate consumer protection and privacy authorities.

The home is a RENTAL and is online. This is not a private residence.

Glide-Lock has all signed documents stating that all products ordered were delivered in full. Go to the website and read TERMS AND AGREEMENTS. Glide-Lock is a manufacturer, not a contractor.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Stay away from this business.

If I could give this business zero stars, I would.

⚠️ STAY AWAY unless you’re ready for thousands in hidden costs, months of delays, wrong measurements, missing items (especially handles), and rude, dismissive communication.

To hide negative reviews, they operated under multiple Google listings. When we called this out in our review, those listings magically disappeared overnight.

Save yourself time, money, and stress — go elsewhere.

UPDATE: This company refuses to take responsibility. They now claim they “don’t have a customer with my name.” The contract was signed by my project manager (Parny Zad), but I was the one who paid. Their denial is a lie — I have proof they corresponded directly with me.

In fact, their response to my BBB complaint included calling me a “POS” and “scum of the earth.” Ready to provide screenshots for anyone asking.

Do not be fooled by their handful of 5-star reviews.

Ask yourself: how can a company with “40 years in business” have so few reviews? Check the dates — notice how the 5-star reviews posted quickly to bury complaints and artificially build reputation.

Check their Houzz rating and BBB complaints before deciding. Read the negative reviews. They all have a common pattern: hidden costs, missing items, incorrect measurements, rude, dismissive communication.
